Welcome to Bettendorf Auto Sales, which was established in 1988 as the place to find quality used vehicles in the Quad Cities. Zimmerman Honda purchased Bettendorf Auto Sales in 2008, with RC Rogers at the helm. This family owned business is an alternative to find quality pre-owned cars, trucks, vans, and suvs, and serves Bettendorf, Davenport, Moline, Rock Island and surrounding communities. Bettendorf Auto Sales practices the same level of commitment as Zimmerman Honda with customer Satisfaction always in mind. The service we received from Merlin Gehrke was superior and made this long distance transaction occur with ease.  Our daughter's dearly loved 2007 VW Beetle Convertible was "t-boned" and totaled by an uninsured motorist that ran through a stop sign, instantly leaving her without a vehicle for college and work.  Upon a search on Autotrader, Merlin had an exact matching mint condition, low mileage 2009 VW Beetle Convertible in the same hard to find gecko green tan top configuration.   Thanks to Merlin's wonderful efforts on a weekend, we were able to replace our daughter's vehicle at great price within 24 hours of placing a call to him.   Both R.C. Rogers and Merlin were two of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet and both of them were a pleasure to deal with during a very stressful event in our live.  I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Bettendorf Auto Sales in the future.

I was in the market looking for a truck or suv 4x4.
I had a set amount i wanted to stay at and couldnt budge from the amount I had set. I came acrossed Bettendorf Auto Sales website and found a Dodge Durango. I made contact with Merlin, who from the get go was open and honest with me about the Durango, just on the phone.
I went to Bettendorf Auto Sales and looked at the Durango ( which the condition was what Merlin had stated ) and test drove it. 
Afterwards Merlin and I were discussing the price, I told him what my budget was and what I had to be at. Merlin made that happen and i drove away with the Dodge. 
If the time comes that I'm in the market to purchase another vehicle, I will call Merlin at Bettendorf Auto Sales.

What a dump!  This place is about as seedy as they get.  We found a very nice car for what we thought was a pretty good deal.  Asked some questions to the salesman about the vehicle's maintenance history - to which he had no information.  Asked that he had the mechanic perform a pressure check on the coolant system before we would buy it.  He agreed, signed a bill of sale to us and we waited to hear back.  When we called back the next business day, he informed us that he had already sold the car to someone else!  Even though we had a signed bill of sale!!!  What a joke, I would not suggest this place to anyone.
