This is a service department review.  I drive the BMW X5 diesel.  This is our third BMW SUV, but our first diesel.  We have been fans of the BMW vehicles, but are losing our enthusiasm for them due to our service department experiences.  I kept having a recurring engine warning light to come on, which was related to the diesel particulate filter.  When my husband took it to the BMW service department, they told him that the filter was not rejuvenating/cleaning and that the only solution was to replace the filter, which was a 12-hour job that would cost $5300.  Having read and researched about this particular issue with the BMW diesel, my husband asked if they couldn't use a scanner to force rejuvenation rather than replace the filter, and of course, he was told NO.  He left the BMW dealership and took the car to a service center that specializes in diesel engines.  They rejuvenated the filter for $750, and the car is running beautifully.  Oh, and when he refused the filter replacement, he was then told that the car also needed new struts.  We had the same service center check the struts with authorization to replace if necessary and were told that the struts were fine.   It is clear that BMW consistently tries to sell service jobs that are not needed.  We will probably be replacing this car within the next year, and this type of disreputable experience with their service department does not encourage us to buy from them again.

The staff was very diligent and friendly. The waiting area was very inviting and modern with complimentary snacks and it is attached to their mini shop. It was great! I got to enjoy an apple while I walked around to admire all of their different, cool products. I loved the waiting area because I was able to watch my car in the shop as they worked on it! I'd definitely recommend this place!

From start to finish I felt the love. Cody Bowman helped find the right car for me and had it shipped down from Nashville all in a span of 3 days. I am absolutely in love with my CPO 2014 BMW 328i xDrive. After driving and  dealing with Mercedes for the past 5 years I am ecstatic to begin my relationship with BMW of Chattanooga. I would highly recommend taking a look at what BMW of Chattanooga has to offer.

Really bad service and poor sale manager. Watch out they going to cheat you really bad. Save your time and money don't go there

They wrecked my car took entire year for them to actually fix it. They tried to blame me for the reason why they couldn't pick up the phone and make a simple phone call and arrangements. Like thanks for wrecking my car and then making me go through hell to hold y'all accountable to fix what  there employee did by backing my car into another vehicle. It was like dealing with children honestly save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. It's sickening and  frightening what I had to go through I doubt anyone would come here if I had time to tell the whole story.
