I love the manager there Ms. Tonya!! It's times where u have been there and the line was out of the for and she make sure that she accommodate everybody the best to her ability!! She's always friendly and multitasking! She is the name reason why I always go to budget! (She truly need a pay increase)!!

I went to the Poplar location. Once we got there they was out of cars to upgrade too. All the cars need to be in the shop. Damages ranged from broken headlights to crack windshields. The only cars they had was two fiestas. This was my first and last time renting from them. I was here at 8am it was after 10am when I got the car. There was several other customers waiting since 8am. Ms. Taylor was trying to work with what she had. This location needs a better selection of cars.

It has good prices, but last time they did not honor my reservation because my Tenneesee DL is Temporary. Had to go to Enterprise, with very good customer service, but a little more expensive.

I  booked a car with Budget Memphis for this location over the phone. I paid for it over the phone too with the Budget car rental help desk employee. When I went to their Poplar Avenue location to pick up the car, I had the worst customer experience ever. 

The service desk girl, Lajerrika, didn't empathise with me, didn't ask for my rental confirmation number and didn't pay attention to my situation at all. I was travelling with a 75 liter backpack on my back (clearly visible as I had it on me when I walked into their office), handed her proof of an Irish debit card and showed her my Belgian driver's licence. Yet she didn't bother to ask if I was travelling and if I could send her my travel documentation for the car rental. 
Instead she asked for bills, had me walk 500 m down the road in the burning sun with that backpack on my back to get the free WiFi from McDonald's (because I didn't have internet, she didn't want to hotspot anything, didn't offer to let me use her computer to get the bills), then I managed to send my bills over, I walked back and she didn't accept the bills and only then she asked me for my travel documentation... Which of course I also couldn't send over because I still didn't have internet nor did she want to offer me WiFi or a hotspot for one email. 

While that was happening I was becoming desperate. I had already paid for my rental over the phone with that other employee. So the money was already gone. I had already booked accomodation in Nashville for that night too (needless to say, I never got that refunded either, so thanks to Lajerrika and her great customer service I lost that amount too). Lajerrika did not empathize at all, didn't offer any water, didn't say anything to make the situation better and just seemed very stuck in her own world.

Worst customer service experience ever. I do not recommend booking cars with Budget.
