I Love Hertz. I can get a car with no problems. Especially if everything is in place I am always in and out fast with a nice vehicle. Thank you for your help and hard work.

This place is absolutely horrendous. My insurance company sent me to this place saying that they charge $25 a car sounds good at first but every car stinks. The car I received after the smell test still smelled like urine. I will never get a car there again.

Absolutely horrible service here. Vehicles are not clean. Our rental vehicle  had blood in it upon receiving and the staff didn't believe us upon return. Staff chose to argue rather even consider it as an honest report of neglect. Not a regular renter but can guarantee from this experience alone Hertz will never retain our business. It's amazing companies continue to open their doors with as poor of customer service as this place proudly presents.

I reserved a minivan back in March of this year (2017) for today July 27th at the Hertz location on Covington Pike in Memphis, Tn. I get to this location about 30 minutes before the time I actually supposed to pick up the mini van and the guy at the desk tells me they do not have what I reserved months ago. I am livid at this point because I called the day before to see if I can rent the van for Wednesday instead of, Thursday for the same amount of time which was a week rental.  The guy at the front desk tells me he can call around to the other Hertz to see if they may have one, so I become more livid because it's not a guarantee that I can get what I reserved, so not fair.  He did offer me a 7 passenger vehicle but that wouldn't do because we have a Dodge Journey at the house and the third row do not have any leg room. He offered another 7 passenger vehicle but that still wouldn't work because I want my kids to be comfortable traveling on a 24 hour ride, I asked him would that vehicle be cheaper he said No and he can offer me a free gas. I am still livid at this point because I am still here and it after the time I initially had the reservation (30 minutes after).  
Hertz is the only company I typically rent from and this particular incident has gotten me to the point I WILL NEVER RENT FROM HERTZ again..... Still after 2 hours I am still waiting, they told me that they went to get the van from a different location and came back to the Covington Pike location,  they told me that I still had to wait so they can get an oil change on the van... At this point I should have went somewhere else bit I wouldn't have gotten the same rate... I'm livid

Obtaining the vehicle was fine.  The waiting to return the vehicle was not .  4 customers  waiting.  Three employees visible upon my arrival.  One left. One said, I'll be with you in a minute.  She left.  The one employee was in the back break room.  After waiting for over 20 mins., a customer went to the back and told him that no one was working the front desk.  10 mins. Later he walks to the front. He was helpful.  Customer service is gone.
