Camp Richardson Resort Beach is a beautiful public beach just north of The Beacon restaurant.  You can pay to park in Camp Richardson for $10, or hike in.  

There's a reasonably priced watercraft rental facility so you can pedalboat, jet ski, etc.  On the beach there's also one volleyball court.

Great place, will definitely be back.
