Unfortunately, we were pretty let down. My husband and I recently spent the weekend here (Sep 2017, King Suite). We decided to spend a little extra on our hotel to fully enjoy the Lake Tahoe experience and chose Hotel Azure. Overall the hotel was nice, but two things that really stuck out to us made us decide not to be return customers. 1. If you were to rate the level of comfort in the mattress it would rate a 2 out of 10. Literally no better than a cheap motel mattress. 2. The walls sound like they have little to no insulation. We could almost make out the conversation in the room adjacent to ours and they weren't even yelling or anything. All in all the hotel was nice aside from that. I just recommend that if you want to sleep in a quite room on a relaxing bed you may want to book elsewhere.

Great value compared to the price of other hotels in the area. Nice place overall. Everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Great place to stay if you enjoy using the trail on the lake or just want to see it. They were very accommodating and let me park my truck and trailer in their lot.

Really nice hotel close to the lake. Rooms are great, except for the noisy AC. Michelle at the reception, and the person in charge of marketing were really great. Michelle helped a lot with planning the trip and finding good places to eat. The place coin operated laundry machines, free bicycles and a game room, which are nice additions. Also, the room had a comfortable bed, a microwave and a fridge and a spacious bathroom. It is rightly located to acess both Heavenly and Emerald Bay.

First room (ground floor) we were given was not clean (obvious debris on carpets) and there were tens of ants in a column in the bathroom. After deliberating whether to switch hotel we decided to tell them and without hesitation they switched us to a room on the floor above. Was cleaner and no ants. No further issues, and there is a pool and a jacuzzi which is nice and staff were friendly. But cleanliness in rooms and communal areas is not great. (Nor was location but not sure how much that is a feature of the whole South lake Tahoe area - we were there in August.)

A very nice, comfortable and affordable hotel conveniently located in South Lake Tahoe. Just across the street from the lake and a short walk to lake access. Great views from the front rooms. Tastefully decorated, plush bedding, attentive staff. The pool and spa are a nice bonus. A little noisy due to the traffic on the major thoroughfare and some young guests were a bit boisterous in the late evening. No on site restaurant but there are many just steps from the hotel. We stayed twice in a week's time, and will use it as our base while exploring the Lake Tahoe area on future trips. Much better than staying in one of the major casino/chain hotels in the area.
