At the Beach Retreat & Lodge, we believe the very best accommodations offer both elegance and comfort. We strive to provide a relaxing atmosphere while still maintaining a sense of the funky style for which South Lake Tahoe is famous.

After spending the day exploring the area, escape to the tranquility of your own personal sanctuary. Each of our 260 recently upgraded rooms are comfortably furnished and warmly decorated, inspired by the beauty of our natural surroundings. Most rooms feature balconies or patios, allowing you to enjoy the area's best sunset with a glass of wine or a mug of hot chocolate. And the Beach Retreat is a pet-friendly hotel, with certain rooms set aside for pets, so there's no need to leave your four-legged family member at home.

Pet-friendly rooms - please note that pets are only allowed on our first floor of standard rooms. There is a $30 fee per night for up to two pets and our suites and lake-view and beachfront rooms are not available for your pets.
