My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary. Amanda called us the day we were to arrive to let us know our room was ready early. The service was excellent. There was also a happy anniversary card in our room when we arrived from the staff. The rooms and grounds are very clean and relaxing. We had a wonderful time. Thank you to Amanda and staff for making our anniversary very memorable. Will definitely return again.

Great place for a romantic or quiet getaway. The rooms are wonderful, spacious and Amanda is AMAZING! I called the day before to go over some last minute details and she was great! My wife and I arrived to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and there was a bottle of wine, two glasses and a note that read, " Happy Anniversary from the Deerfield." Such a wonderful place! Highly recommended!

A gem! We just returned from an overnight visit. The Deerfield Lodge is very sweet, charming, clean, comfortable, and friendly. The rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows super comfortable. We had a second floor room with a view of the beautiful garden and common area. The property is centrally located to the marina and downtown area. The only drawback is that they do not have air conditioning but they tell you upfront many times about that in case you need to change your mind about staying. I highly recommend this lovely lodge.

This is a very comfortable place to stay with friendly staff.  The rooms are very nice with a very comfortable bed, large shower, gas fireplace, and patio area with chairs looking onto the nice outdoor courtyard.  Parking is free an very convenient to your room.  Free fast wifi and light breakfast.  This is the place to stay in South Lake Tahoe.

A most amazing gem in a nice quiet spot in South Tahoe. Don't worry, it's still close enough to the action. The rooms were large and emasculated, the building and grounds were impeccable, and the hosts were a real treat. Amanda was one of the best parts of my trip. A real delight!
