Staff was excellent here.  We were here on business and wanted a place for the two of us to work.  They only have the reception area with a sofa.  We asked for more space the night manager shared her conference room space she was working in with us.

No complimentary meals , I was given king size bed as compliment and after 1 hour got call from front desk and was talk to change the room since they need it.. No shuttle service to office. No sofa to sit.. Hot water is not working intiially.....  
Pros : Near to the city and shops. Easily accessible by walk to Walmart , Best buy , HEB and ROSS....

The check in was fine. I was supposed to get an upgrade to a king size bed but that did not happen. The room had a musty kind of a smell but i either got used to it quickly or it left quickly

Not truly a suite with every thing in one room and weekly room cleanings the Candlewood suites is off the beaten path with a tv too small for the room and hard to see even with my glasses. Pluses the room was clean when I checked in and the staff were semi-friendly.

- Better places for the money locally.

On 9/ 22/2017
I left a message for Peggy ,that handles booking conference room.
When speaking with Peggy regarding  Oct 21, 2017 to confirm baby shower.
Peggy said that she had left several message. Never receive and message. Peggy is very rude, nasty, unprofessional.  I had relative coming out of town that was going to staying at the hotel. Now they will have to make other arrangements.  Never do business with a unreliable hotel.
