The actual hotel isn't that bad, decent rooms but be warned the front desk lady Nina is out of control. I stayed here for a few weeks while my home was being repaired from the hurricane and during the Christmas holidays I was off of work and she demanded that I help her clean rooms (I did not do it) and she called me a lazy a**h*e because I wouldn't help and I "don't" work. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a place of business and ridiculed because I was off of work for the holidays. She also lives in the front office and I left my key in my room one night and returned home late so I went to the front office and had her refuse to make me a new key because I woke her up even though they're open 24 hours. She was also intoxicated multiple times I've dealt with her. One last complaint, multiple mornings I was still in bed and had her knock once and open the door on me to clean the room. Instead of quickly shutting the door when realizing I was still in bed and not dressed she would leave the door opened and demand that I wake up and stand outside the room so she could come in a.d clean. I've literally had to yell at her to shut the door so me and my fiance could get dressed! It is absolutely absurd that super 8 allows this woman to treat her PAYING guests this way. I don't think she understands that people PAY to stay there and that she should never be allowed to walk into someone's room at 8:30. While they are not dressed and tell them they are lazy and need to get up now and get out so she can clean. I absolutely hate writing bad reviews and rarely do but this is one of the most unbelievably horrible experiences with a professional business I have ever had in my life. During a extremely hard time in our lives having to live outside our home so it could be repaired we had to also deal with this woman. Who thinks we should work more and our home would be completed faster. I warn you DO NOT STAY HERE! you can contact me for any questions regarding better places to stay in Katy if you're in the same position but save yourself the time and hassle!

I’m a construction work who travel out quite a bit. I don’t live around the area and had to travel out to this place. When I got to this hotel, the front desk lady was already talking to another customer and both looked like it wasn’t a good conversation. After when the customer left, she yell back just enough to let him hear that he needed to be nicer and didn’t need to take it out on her building. Once she was done with him and started to talk to me, she already had a hatefully attitude and didn’t even try to change it. After we said hi and talked about the room I asked if I could see the room first before I decided anything. She said it was fine but even before I see the room she must have my I.d.’s and card payment and even stated if I messed up or changed anything in the room I was to pay as if I stayed, but if I didn’t do anything then I wasn’t to be charged. Well I said that was fine and gave her my cards, look at the room and decided the room not not even clean. The room felt off, bed was made and everything look like it was okay, but the room did not feel like it was cleaned at all. When I got back to to the front lady and told her I have changed my mind and will go somewhere else, she stated that I was going to be charged still, claimed that I’m only going to be charged for one night, and had a snappy attitude that made me even more not willing to stay. I would not stay here for there service nor how the place looked. I wouldn’t even be surprised if the try to over charge me, but this place is not a good best at all.

This place is extremely over priced an ghetto as ghetto gets . I recommend stay down the block at Hampton inn or motel 6 . Don't stay here.

Came to see my kids. Front desk lady was very friendly and overall room was not bad for the price.

I got to the hotel 12am on 8/27 and in the morning my parents woke up and the lady that runs the place was being rude to my parents about us not wanting them to clean the room. Later on that day, I was sitting by the window while watching the rain fall. I could hear that same lady and a customer on the second floor get into an argument. The customer had brought about 3 or 4 elderly people and I could hear her trying to rush them to get down the wet stairs. I could hear the customer yell and say "they're elderly! They're elderly! They can only go so fast!". I understand that it was during hurricane Harvey but that's no excuse to try to force things on people and yell at elderly people. I would definitely not recommend anyone going to this hotel.
