MUST VISIT. This national park is one of the most beautiful and serene places I have ever been. The landscape and its diversity will blow your mind. Rent a 4x4, get a map of all the offroad destinations and enjoy your time. Just make sure you have plenty of water and protection from the sun.

Awesome and vast National Park. On the surface there doesn't appear to be much but it is full of surprises if you are willing to explore. Be careful in summer. The valleys are extremely hot and maybe should be avoided in the summer. However, head up into the mountains and it'll be cool and you might see stuff that many tourists miss.

This is a huge national park. and there are a ton of things to see but they are spread all over so be prepared to drive when you are here. Be smart about where you go, let someone know if you are going to go hike in a remote part of the park. The desert is unique place to see and experience, plan a trip for at least three days if you want to see all of the park and if you can plan to watch the stars at night they are amazing out here , or a full moon hike.

This is such a gorgeous place! We spent a whole day here and it wasn't enough. Winter is a great time to be here. Bring a warm jacket and plenty of water and snacks. Hiking boots are a good idea too.

Dry and barren, yet exquisite in it's landscape and geology. We hiked most of the well known viewpoints and found them all fascinating. Most 'hikes' are paved or packed gravel, so easy trekking. Amenities are few, including water, so bring your own. We hiked in mid-January and it was already plenty warm and certainly dry. We thought the "Artist's Scenic Drive" was worth a day trip, and there are many other viewpoints worth a few hours at least.
