Of the two diamond resorts in Tahoe, I feel this is the better choice. This hotel has a nice private beach while the other does not. It is right next to amazing restaurants. Take the Safari rose cruise, the dock is just outside the hotel. Room is very clean, beautiful bathrooms. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and popcorn were in the room.

The resort is clean and grounds are maintained well. The location in South Lake Tahoe is perfect. A Safeway is within walking distance. The unit was nice and clean. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and the room has a box fan, which we used for white noise at nighf. The amenities, activities and resort offerings were not worth the daily resort fee required through our RCI exchange. If the weather had been warmer, we probably would have spent more time at the beach; however, the wind was not inviting. If you intend to spend much of your time away from the resort, this is a great location and good fit.

Great location with its own private beach on the marina a mile from the hustle and bustle of Stateline.  Baths and kitchens partly updated but furnishings need updating.  Units clean but common areas don’t appear so clean.   No dishwasher or washer/dryer in units-common laundry area.

We stayed in the Bliss building, second floor. We were in a one bedroom. The unit was nicely updated. The balcony is nice, featuring all composite materials. The room amenities were great with your standard cable TV, a large flat screen in both rooms and DVD players. There is also a well stocked kitchen and two full baths. There is WiFi on premise, but it was honestly hit or miss as to whether it was going to work. There are a few items missing due to the space limitations, namely a regular stove(they provide a two burner plug in, but it's pretty small), a dishwasher (not a big deal), and an oven (they only have a toaster oven). These aren't necessarily negatives, just something to keep in mind. Overall the room is great. The grounds are kept pristine, with a private beach that is monitored closely by security and a green area with several grills for cooking. They also have two spas and a pool. The pool is kept decently warm and the spas are kept hot. We've been here several times in the past and have always enjoyed ourselves. One of the biggest advantages is that it is walking distance to the marina.

We were at Tahoe Beach and Ski for the 4th of July week 2017.  The staff did an extraordinary job of making the place enjoyable in the face of huge crowds.  The facility was kept immaculate and every contact with staff was polite and friendly.  Rooms were really clean and well stocked with necessities, and the beach had enough chairs and even shade for all.  I was worried about the new umbrella rules, but it worked out and enforcement was polite and very reasonable.
