Awesome people!!!  Great price for the location, close to Stateline.  A/C not needed  even in summer.  What is most important is the friendly, courteous personalities of the owners.  i enjoyed getting to know this couple, even though there was a small language problem.  They are well known  and highly respected in the area, verified by other people i know.  I highly recommend this motel to everyone, and i will return the next time i visit South Lake Tahoe.

No mention of their not being an air conditioner in room on their website. Room only had a portable standing swivel fan you could buy at Walmart. Old style TV.

Obviously we were not expecting a luxury place, but a couple of things were somewhat surprising:
— no spare toilet paper in the bathroom (seriously);
— no easily accessible power outlets;
— the lady who manages the place visited us two days in a row to check if we did not switch off a TV receiver (which we accidentally did once, as we needed a power outlet and had no idea other rooms depend on it as well);
— we've got an impression that the room was not properly prepared for new visitors (dusty floor in the bathroom);

I'd say $250 for two nights is a bit too much for such service.

The lady at desk asked me to pay in cash even tho she tried and claimed to fail using my debt card. well i checked with my bank and my debt card was used . So i got burned since i payed twice ! i am reporting them now

we were here at the lake Tahoe inn. about four years a go. and it all changed. the paint out door is change. the new owner had done good job. the rooms are remodel like we see on the Photos on Google. the staff is fairly friendly. the comforter are comfy.
number on they have:
Free wireless Internet High speed
Refrigerator 
Microwave 
Hair dryer
Iron Iron Board
Coffee/Tea Maker
all that for free no charge. thank you lake Tahoe inn for make change to the rooms. i gonna come back with my friends next month. Rica save me room #129. Thank you for the best service.
