Really not worth your time. You pay to drive a few meters up the road and around a u-turn. The tree is nice but there's literally nothing else here - no parking to stop at and get out for more photos, no picnic area, nothing. We were lucky in that there was nobody else there, but if it were busy the narrow road would be a complete mess. Skip this and go to the actual National Park.

Very nice place to visit! The gift shop has a great selection of souvenirs or something to give to your loved ones at home. Little bit high on prices but some neat custom made items!

This place is great! I liked it much better than the shrine drive thru tree. It was more economical (still $5/car) and the tree is still alive! You can drive through as many times as you want, although the gift shop is a total tourist trap. Right off of 101, great spot to stop by if you're going that way.

Yes, it's cheesy to drive thru a redwood tree, but you gotta do it at least once. The fee is $5. Awesome wood carvings in old stumps as you drive up. Beautiful huge tree to drive thru -- if you're not driving a huge truck. Very clean bathrooms. Great picnic area!

Went here as a kid with my family. Came back many years later . It was quiet and allowed me too reflect on the amount of time that passed. What a perfect place to do that!
