Phenomenal service, clean cars and a super friendly staff. I like Enterprise in general but Baleigh and her staff are great and make me want to do business with them all the more. We'll be back!

First, it took 30 minutes to get the car I reserved. I have rented a lot of cars over the years and this seemed to be a lot slower than it needed to be.

I was told that I needed to pay a $200 deposit, which was unexpected and presented a hardship. I guess this was because the card I was using had "Debit" printed on it and had to be written up as such, even though it could also operate as a credit card. That they would be do it this way was probably buried somewhere in paragraph 27a, subsection b of the rental agreement and it is my fault for not reading the entire thing. Had I known about this though, I could have been prepared or made other arrangements; maybe some sort of pop-up or warning on the website would have been helpful.

So, with my checking account low, I called the branch (today)to see if the $200 refund was in the works. They told me that it had been refunded back to me at 7:00 this morning (as I returned the car after hours). When I explained that they money was not back in my account, they told me I had to take it up with my bank. Of course, my bank had no record of this. I expected that,  as I would be able to see it in my checking account online.

So the information that they gave me was false. I am not accusing them of lying, but I think that they just wanted me off the phone and dismissed me with "We did our part, take it up with your bank". Clearly their "System" has it queued up to send the refund in a batch process sometime tonight (presumably). 

If they had refunded my money, it would be in my account. My bank tells me that deposits are not held by them. When they get the money back from a merchant, it goes straight back into my account with no delay.

My frustration with them is not that I had to pay a deposit. I wasn't expecting it and was not happy about it, but that was on me. I am not even mad about the delay getting my deposit back. I wasn't expecting it this soon anyway. I am angry, because they falsely told me the money had been refunded and dismissed me by sending me to my bank, when I told them that their information was incorrect. It was as if they were saying, "We did our part, it's your problem now."

I wasted time contacting my bank verifying (what I knew) that the information they gave me was false. Just because they clicked the button, does not mean my refund had been issued. For the future, a more accurate statement could go something like: "We started the process to get your deposit back to you at 7:00 this morning. We expect that it should be back in your account in X to Y days."

Generally, they were polite and the car was great, which is why this was not a completely awful experience.

Loved the car and my experience checking in...but took them almost 2 weeks to refund my deposit that should have been refunded the day I returned the car and they had the keys.
