Military Service Member Warning!!!

Extremely frustrated at Shamaley Ford in El Paso Texas.  I have a family connection to Ford vehicles and have proudly owned many over the years.  I took our 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum into Shamaley Ford for some service issues (navigation card malfunctioning, missing door drains, quasi carbon monoxide recall, and a blemish I noticed on the hood which I knew was a manufacturing issue).  Everything is covered under warranty.

I set my service appointment online over 2 weeks ago, of course I need to come back a week later for them to fix these issues.  So I drop off the vehicle last week and am told it will take a week to complete the repairs.  The service agent walks me over to the Enterprise rental car and I get a rental.  Earlier this week I get a call saying parts are delayed due to weather. Last night I receive a call from Shamaley Ford informing me parts are on backorder.  So to recap I’ve been in a rental car for over a week my vehicle has not been repaired (the hood) and when I express my displeasure with the Shamaley Ford Service manager I get the verbal version of a shrug.  

I gave them plenty of opportunity to make any gesture to repair my trust as a customer but Shamaley Ford does not seem to have it in their corporate culture to address reasonable grievances.  I haven’t purchased a vehicle from Shamaley Ford but I can guarantee the service department is not a place to entrust your vehicle.  Nor do they respect your time or how their process or procedures will inconvenience you.  It is my opinion that it’s possible Shamaley and the on-site Enterprise car rental run a scam to extend the rental of vehicles.
