REVERE LOCATION IS WORTH GOING TO EVEN IF YOU HAVE CLOSER LOCATIONS, GREAT MANAGMENT AND CLEAN CARS

Due to a car accident, I needed a car rental in October of 2016. My insurance agency approved the rental through Enterprise and paid them in full in December of 2016 by check (which I have confirmed through check copies). On the weekend of July 30th, 2017 (almost 8 months after they were paid in full) Enterprise in Beverly, MA charged my debit card the exact amount that the rental from last year had cost, effectively stealing over $200 directly from my bank account. I never received a phone call, letter or email from Enterprise prior to this. Being a weekend, the office was closed and I had to wait until Monday morning to call. When I called, the assistant manager told me she couldn't help me until at least the afternoon at the earliest because the was too busy. I then asked for the number of her area manager and was told she needed to look it up. She placed me on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up without the info. I called back and she said "I told you I can't help you until this afternoon". I told her I still needed the managers number and she hung up on me. I called back again and she gave me the number to the Peabody branch instead of the managers number. The branch in peabody gave me the managers number. After being told multiple times over 2 days that my insurance company never paid them, the manager finally found that my check had been applied to a different customers account. I was assured that my debit card would be refunded. 2 days later, the refund had not come through. I again contacted the manager and asked for a receipt of the refund and he said he would have it emailed to me. The request for the receipt was made at 10am, and I reminded him that I hadn't received the email 3 more times throughout the day. It has now been more than 4 days since Enterprise stole money from my bank account and I do not have my refund or proof that they are even attempting to refund me. Edit: They finally sent me a check and admitted they had taken a payment that was not owed to them.

My wife needed a car during repairs. They said bring insurance paperwork for reduced price. When we brought paperwork they did not reduce the price. I understand the policy - but they should not have made the bad promise.
