I'm editing the review to say that the gentleman who worked with my husband recently to get a car for Labor Day weekend was really helpful and generous in trying to right the situation. I'm hopeful that the better service continues. I'm leaving our bad  experiences here for now as well to warn others to tread carefully. Thanks to the area or regional manager for his help!!! 9/5/17

Awful. We used Enterprise to rent cars in the Chicagoland area all the time with great service. Since moving to Springfield, we have gotten rude service from this and the two other Enterprise locations. At this one a couple months ago, we reserved a mid sized sedan and ended up with a Ford Mustang. We had a seven hour round trip to my Dr because I'm building new medical relationships here, and the Mustang was not comfortable! This time,  my husband made the reservation a week early and for three hours before we needed to leave in order to be sure we get a comfortable car. We STILL didn't get a car! The man behind the counter didn't apologize or anything, just told my husband the compact car we reserved was ready... except we didn't reserve a compact car! There were three larger cars in the parking lot with Enterprise stickers on them, but I guess they were broken down? 90 minutes later, after calling the other locations and the corporate office, we drove our own car. Corporate said all they could do was email the area manager, and we'd hear back soon. 24 hours later, we haven't heard back!

I haven't been at fault for any fender benders since my pre-20's. Luckily I always buy the insurance and roadside assistance Enterprise offers because it is so reasonably priced it makes sense to buy it just in case. As we were leaving town I backed into someone at the gas station. Enterprise covered their own bumper and my insurance covered the scratches and dent on the other car. No stress, and very helpful people at Enterprise.

This group was incredibly professional they took the best care of me and made sure that I had the vehicle that I needed. I will never go to any other Enterprise rental car place in town. The vehicle was clean and ready for me to go when I got there.

I love Enterprise, but lately the service has not been up to par. Several Occasions, I've tried getting vehicles for the weekend and they are never available, AFTER having a reservation.. I got the run around all Weekend, only to Not get a desired vehicle..
This is the type of business that will make me go elsewhere.. Please call or email a customer so they will know what's going on. Thank you
