Terrible service, with a smile. VA Tire & Auto tried to make my issues right (and even fixed some of them), but the overall experience was such that I will never go back. I took my car in for a lot of stuff, and VA Tire did something wrong on almost all of it. - Emissions inspection. They charged me, but I didn't find out their machine was down until I tried to renew my registration and couldn't. They said they'd give me a refund and didn't. - Oil change. They didn't put any oil in the car. After noticing the car ran rough, I checked the dipstick and it was dry as a bone. They towed the car to the shop to fix this. - Alignment. The car drifted to the right after their alignment. They fixed this also. What should have been a day or two in the shop turned into a major hassle and waste of my time. They were really nice about it, but in the end I came out the loser... and I still never got the refund for the emissions inspection.

Amazing customer service! I'm truly at a loss of words. I spent over $1100 and couldn't be happier. Usually people get sticker shock and previously, I've had horrible experiences with shops. Kory at the front desk and Chris, who I'm assuming is the shop manager, went above and beyond to service my Xterra. Aside from a mechanic stating my vehicle had an issue with the starter (which it didn't) management and front desk personnel are all extremely upfront and honest. Additionally, the car rental service and price matching policies are superb, bar none. Thanks again VA Tire and auto for all of your help. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

Cold front coming, decide to put the snows on the BMW X4 this morning while its still decent weather. I get the driver's rear and my Snap-On impact gun can't blow the lugs off. I have a powerful impact gun, it does that with ease. What's going on? Then I remember I had a flat repair on that wheel from Virginia Tire and Auto and whomever did the work must have run it on with a serious impact gun. No problem, I'll get my Snap-On 36" 1/2" breaker bar - it can handle it. Not. Holy-Moley, they are really on there. I can't budge them. Now I'm not happy, to put a 17mm head lug on there so tight that a 3' breaker bar can't budge them means they ran them home with something like a 3/4" Truck Service Impact gun, and they are probably on at around 200 or more ft lb. I get a pipe and put on the end. Still can't move them. !!! !!! Now we have a problem, because I am either going to shear the lug or break the pivot of the tool head. I stand on the pipe which is on the breaker bar and bounce my serious weight on it, waiting for something to give it up. Turns out the lugs decide to finally turn and spin off,. Too-tight lugs not only stretch the bolts beyond their rated capacity, but can also warp brake rotors when not properly torqued. Your staff knows that, but they don't care, obviously. HEY VIRGINIA TIRE....how about instead of paying Redskins Quarterback Kirk Cousins however many millions a year you pay him, put that money into some training and impact gun torque sticks? I will never return to your store, not when you do work like this..

Punctured my tire. Came in looking for just a patch to get me through the next month or so as my tire tread was wearing down and I did eventually have to replace all 4 tires in the next few months. The place was busy with a lot of customers. Leon went out with me to check it out. Told me a patch wouldn’t work as the puncture was too big. Tommie, one of the managers, advised me on a set of new tires. Contrary to the mixed reviews here, I had a pleasant experience and would definitely come back in the future. Thanks guys, you put me at ease.

The staff at this location is key to it's success. I had an issue one time with a tire rotation where they feared they would break the lug nut on my car. They asked me if they should continue before proceeding and just breaking it off. I appreciate the honesty and transparency that they provide. I will continue going back to routine car maintenance on both of my cars.
