Amazing staff, great deals on electronics, I have been going to this store for over a year and bought tons of stuff from them, I mean, just look at the selection in the photos. They have new stuff too and test all the equipment. I have never had anything not work from here and I have purchased lots of items. They also accept donations if you have stuff to get rid of. A bit of a lengthy review but I can't let the negative reviews be the only ones for my favourite thrift store in Toronto.
Went a couple of months ago. Was expecting lots of spare parts and computers for me to pick at, very disappointed. Only products they had were refurbished systems which were overpriced, random off-brand electronics, and overpriced, used hard drives. Also some mechanical keyboards that I thought were nice, turns out they've been having horrible build quality issues. Staff were nice though. I expected a lot more from this store considering the fact that its in such a big city right next to a university campus, total let down.
Great sustainable organization. Donate your used and new tech tools. There is a store that has diverse tech items like monitors, laptops, chargers, mouses, headphones, and keyboards.
I really want to like this place, actual people working here are absolute titans. They know their tech, but policies are super corporate. I understand they are a non-profit but I had to literally run in anguish, because of a leg injury, to make it in time because they close at sharp 5. Even a small request, to hold something for 5 minutes that corporate entities do without even thinking twice they have an issue with. So I don’t know, mixed vibes. Jaja is brilliant bloke and other volunteers, they know good product when they see it. You can cop some great stuff for super cheap. But senior management are just street hustlers, don’t respect the tech or customers one bit. I had done actual work to promote their organization, but the way they treated even a potential opportunity I don’t think I can support an entity like that. Will return for products.
Place is very small on the inside. They have a work area on one side and a sales area on the other
Greek out. Friendly team, every cable your heart could desire and a chance to slide down the tech time tunnel. Many treasures and thrift store style bargains alongside sensibly priced, modern PCs and laptops. Thoroughly recommended.
If you're donating used computers, show up during the posted times and give them a call when you arrive. I was met outside promptly by someone who was friendly and polite and prepared to take away my 2 desktop computers. Very easy and feels good to find use for unneeded but functional tech.
A little weird to get in, you have to call in from the entrance to the building, but once inside it's a goldmine of cheap, good quality second hand and refurbished electronics. The staff really know their stuff as they're the ones repairing and building the gear. They're and as you could ask for and have more than just gear, they offer internet services and can even teach you about your product. Absolutely could not recommend this place enough, especially if you need stuff like accessories, or storage devices like USB sticks, they're crazy cheap compared to new.
A cool place to pick up some cheap used computer parts and accessories. I bought a portable wired speaker for $10 and a Logitech G700s for $20 Although without a wireless dongle or battery. Their inventory changes frequently, so if you need anything computer related, although might be missing a few parts, go there.
Love the place. Reasonable prices, well organized and professional and polite staff. What more could you want? Also theres a parking garage nearby so easy to get to.
