West Shore Cafe was an incredible venue for our May wedding. We were planning a destination wedding and my parents were helping pay for the wedding so they were very involved in the planning as well. I realize we probably overwhelmed the venue with the amount of communication we were requiring (especially during the off season), so I can be understanding for the delayed response sometimes. For the most part the staff was incredibly helpful and willing to work with us; however, when we were there for the wedding, it sometimes felt like we were an annoyance to the staff. Again, I understand we were probably asking for a lot, but it was a little frustrating to be spending the amount of money we were spending with them and to be sometimes treated like we were a hassle. I say all of this to say, that what West Shore Cafe offers is better than anything else we could find at Lake Tahoe. The West Shore is quiet and incredibly scenic and I could not have been more satisfied. Definitely recommend this venue for weddings and will be going there for our anniversaries, I'm sure!

Not only did my husband and I have the wedding of our dreams here, but we have come back every year since as it is the most magical place in the world. Summer or winter, we have had the best experience - each time getting better and better. The wedding was perfect, food always delicious (drinks even better), service is always fantastic and the setting is unrivaled. This is our little slice of heaven and I could not recommend it more!

Best wedding I've ever attended and got to be a part of! Awesome place! Breath taking views. You can't get any better than West Shore. We stayed in their Lake Side Villa and it was incredible!

As a long time Tahoe resident, West Shore Cafe has been a staple for my family when it comes to dining out. Be it a special event... anniversaries, birthdays or just a relaxing lunch away from the office, West Shore Cafe never disappoints. Clearly the views can't be beat but the food and service are equal crowd pleasers. It is my go-to whenever I have company from out of town. Highly recommend!

My family & I love the West Shore Cafe! We first stayed here on our honeymoon and we have been back every year since. The staff is always warm and friendly and the restaurant is fantastic. We often stay in mud season when the restaurant is closed, (best time to go), but even when a lot of the amenities are not offered we still have a blast! The rooms are clean and spacious, the views are breathtaking and the drive is easy. One year we stayed for Thanksgiving and the restaurant was closed and we found some take out from a nearby restaurant. The staff went above and beyond and set up a table in the restaurant and made a truly memorable experience. Our annual trip to the West Shore is always something we look forward to every year! I would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again West Shore for all the memories!
