Made a reservation online and then when I went to get the car, they didn't have any... Not sure what kind of car rental place rents out cars that don't come back... Or doesn't know when cars are supposed to come back. Always had great service from Hertz at big airport locations, but not from this small town location.

Very bad experience. There was no car we reserved for, took another car but it was not working fine (wired sound above 65mph). Had to cancel my trip and the customer service was the worst part that I ever felt.

They went above and beyond helping me during the Christmas break. They found a car, the system had overbooked them, and had everything ready to go when I got there. Only complaint I had was someone prior to me had smoked in it, something not noticeable until after running the air and nothing they could have done. All in all, an amazing experience and I will work with them again. Thank you for making the holidays great!

First, @hertzcorp if hotel chains can figure out how to track their bookings nationwide so as to know what rooms they have available where even the night of a booking, I'm sure you can do so with your cars to avoid CONFIRMING a reservation at a location that has no cars.....
  Booked last night due to an emergency, showed up this morning they had no cars, and all they could say was "oh we tried to call you, we tried to call you" a thousand times.  Sorry!  Can't pick up my phone every moment!  Anyway they had no solution and essentially blamed me for daring to make a last minute reservation. "Everyone else booked theirs months in advance..." No sugar, dipsy doodle giggly southern charm don't make you blaming me better.  Avis is just as cheap and always has cars or will bring one from another location if they must.  I guess Avis understands the value of keeping a booking...also classic cars (I had one too once) are great but maybe if they found another place to park all those project cars they'd have more room in the lot for spare rentals...just sayin
