I really like Lia Honda. The have some great people and skilled mechanics that work there. They have a clean and comfortable place for patrons to sit and wait for their car's. Also have an area with hot coffee or tea to enjoy while they wait

I was ready to start shopping for cars and I stopped in at Lia Honda Northampton. I was asked to sit and tell an older salesman what I wanted. I explained that I LOVE my Civic and wanted to figure out what I want next. He went through the computer looking for cars that matched my budget (although he didn't hear when I said x-amount of *more*). He had few cars with manual transmission but said he could look on the computer to see what their other stores had. This was taking long and it was raining out. I had mentioned the Honda Fit that I'd like to see how it drives but I wasn't up for an actual road test. HIS idea: drive the Fit around the parking lot; I'll go get it. I'm waiting and waiting. I'm thinking about leaving. Finally a different guy shows up and shakes my hand and takes my contact information and while friendly he basically ushers me OUT THE DOOR! I get it that they want to sell TODAY but that kind of treatment made sure that a person actually ready to get a new car will not go back to Lia Honda. I had the money and could have spent more if I liked the car. I'm really surprised I was treated this way.

Exceptionally pleasant leasing experience. The exact car I was seeking at a very fair price. No games, no nonsense. I was in and out of the dealership in less than two hours. Ashely and Evan are the two folks who helped me and they were very professional. Don’t hesitate to start your car search here. Very positive experience!

I was having trouble starting my '98 Civic. Can't afford the dealership, but I remembered that I had my starter replaced from a recall a few years ago. I went to service dept. on a Saturday morning. He said they were swamped and couldn't even check my battery. I looked around. There were no other cars to be seen. He finally agreed to have someone take the 2 minutes it would take to check the battery. It was ok. I told him about the recall. He said there was no recall on the new starter. I was confused. "Oh, you mean the new one they put in?" No answer. He was looking directly at my account on his computer, but never explained what he meant or inquired further about the recall. I assumed he was looking directly at my service records which I assume is what comes up when they put my name into the computer, which consists of one repair--the recall. He did finally try and start the car. A mechanic happened by. They both said it sounded like the ignition switch. Since it was not the starter, which I thought had been replaced by them a year or two ago, I took it to a local mechanic that I could afford a couple of days later. Told him what Honda said. He fixed the switch. The car was not fixed. Went back to Honda. "It has to be the starter. What about the recall? It shouldn't have gone bad that quickly." He looked me up in the computer again and THEN told me it was not the starter, but the ignition switch had the recall and had been replaced. He was looking straight at my records that Saturday when I first came in and never told me I was wrong about the starter and that it was the ignition switch that had just been replaced. So, basically, I threw $200.00 into the garbage thanks to them. $200.00 that I can't afford to not have going toward other bills right now. Thanks a Lot for screwing me over.!!! Never again!!!!
