Today visit was good.  I was assured  that they would do things right. Purchased a used car  less than two weeks ago. The gasket was blown.  They had been  doing  all the services on this car and they assured that it was  in good condition. They did not agree to fix, just said they would do the right thing.

We found Matt Slap Auto Subaru through the Costco auto program.

Although it was an hour and 15 minutes away, the service and value we received was phenomenal and way worth the drive.

We love our car and we loved our experience. Even if you don't use the Costco auto program (you really should though!) we 100% recommend Matt Slap Subaru. We learned why they're recommended by other businesses, by being greeted as we entered, guiding us through the process without pressure, and even by following up with us in the days after our purchase.

Updating my review with some context instead of just stars--we've now purchased two cars from this dealer over the last 3 years, and have been very happy.  I don't say it lightly either; we've dealt with pretty shady and scummy dealers in the past and these guys certainly don't fit that bill.

I came in (both times, for both cars) with an internet referral, and what I wanted to pay out the door.  Explained that I had financing from my own bank and what I wanted.  Both times they made sure they found the exact car we wanted, and didn't hassle us with unnecessary extras.  

I also tend to do the majority of regular maintenance for our cars on my own, and their service department has always been helpful with this.  In the rare times I had them do work for me, they never pushed unnecessary work and were always professional.  When we had an issue with some minor damage that may have been caused by their service tech, the service manager sat down with me directly and was extremely professional about the problem (and offered to cover the repair in full--with a loaner car free of charge if we requested it).

Overall, when it comes to dealer experiences, I've only really had good ones here.  Certainly room to improve, but that's true anywhere.

Had a great experience with Matt Slap Subaru. Chris was awesome had to handle the deal over the phone, Got me approved quick and easy. Next day I met Greg Winter to finish the rest of the deal, Its nice to work through the deal with some who enjoyed the car as much as the buyer. Overall great team and would recommend anyone who wants a Subaru to go check out Matt Slap Subaru.

I was a little anxious about going into a dealership on my own because I wanted to avoid any pressure to buy.  In fact, I wasn't planning to purchase a car that day.  Based on the fantastic customer experience, in-depth information, quality of product and the business office willing to work out a deal I did walk out with a new car and I am very happy with it.
