This place is a must visit. Located of the famed Pacific Coast Highway, the views are just spectacular. NOTE: Always check for road closures, in this area, due the recent mudslides. This is the only road here. Otherwise it's just the ocean drop on one side OR the mountains on the other. Lots of activities can be planned around this place. The popular one is to take the trail. After a brief walk through a tunnel like thing, there is a bifurcation. The left leads to a place above the falls. If you were wondering where the 'falls' are, relax!😊 You are just above it. However, the views from here are just as breathtakingly beautiful, if not more. After walking back you, will reach the place where you bifurcated. Now go over to the other side. Here is where the fun begins. After you cross a wooden bridge, or just before that, you will suddenly come across the falls when you turn to your left. You can either keep on taking photos or just soak it all in. There are few more activities you can do. Check out their official site.

Quite campground. The beach access was closed while i was visiting. That was disappointing. The purple sanded beaches are a world-wonder. The trails are kept in excellent shape. The CCC was there during my visit. #Impressed #CaliforniaStateParks

Amazing sunset, but very small area. Other than watching the sunset through the holes in the rocks in the water, there isn't much to do or see. Plus you have to pay a separate fee to get in.

Not easily accessible unless you have a car and you are willing to drive there, but a must see if you are visiting the West coast. Big Sur is far more than a landscape or a beach with some rock formations. It is a feeling, pure Magic.
