Thanks to great salesmanship, we walked away with a great used car and a lasting friendship with the personnel at Phil Long Hyundai.  Our sales consultant, Mr. Tim Coon, was a great listener and was able to make a first time car owner very happy. Being owners of Hyundai vehicles, we were set on getting another one of their vehicles for our granddaughter and Phil Long Motor City came through for us.  Keep up the good work.

I had my car's oil changed yesterday. They were all very friendly and helpful.  A salesman even chatted with me for a bit about a car I liked on the showroom, in spite of the fact he knew I was not in the market for a new car.  Friendly and professional folks in the service department and it's so easy to schedule the appointments online.

Horrible customer service.  They sold me a '17 Elantra and now I need a new windshield.  Apparently there is a "Nationwide Backorder...."  I spoke with a manager and he was rude, unsympathetic and of no use to me.  I will NEVER use this dealership for anything.  I would rather walk than have to go through their doors again.  They don't stand behind their vehicles and have the attitude of "we sold it to you, that's all...."  I should not have to make payments on a vehicle that I can't use because Hyundai is incapable of ensuring there are parts for a vehicle they rushed off the production line in February of '16!!!!  Absolutely absurd and the most outrageous thing I've had to deal with buying a car.  Oh and this is after they sold me a lemon Toyota Tundra.  They were nice enough to take it back, let me lose a couple thousand dollars 3 weeks later and make me buy another vehicle from them.  They made money of me x 2 within 3 weeks and laughed all the way to the bank.  Tim was my salesman and although he did his best, that just wasn't enough for me.  Not his fault the windshields aren't available, but when a customer calls, you better listen and not get an attitude with me!!!  You're lucky I live in Pa now or I'd park the car on your lot, leave the keys in it and walk away from the payments!!!!!

Save yourself the hassle and go to the Hyundai dealership up in the north side of town. GM tries to be helpful but be careful what you say to him... you might say something that will throw his switch. I said the word "asinine" referring to $30+ to put nitrogen in my tires was asinine. He very shorty after, in a very tactful way, called me an a**hole. Granted he didn't outright call me an a**hole but he was very clear on what he was trying to say. I was very frustrated by the time I spoke with him but I was not creating a scene, raising my voice, or freaking out. His response to imply that I was an a**hole was unprofessional and down right wrong. I'll stay out of that place in the future and take my business elsewhere.
