Piccadilly Grill
"Little hole in the wall with outstanding service and food ! The Piccadilly grill has been in business for nearly 80 years ! Me and my family have owned it since may 1 , 2019. I run the restaurant as a one man operation , my name is Abed or as the regulars say “diesel”. I grew up in a restaurant it is in my dna. I love what I do and I believe it shows in the food . If you’re looking for a hearty flavor full breakfast or lunch . This is the place for you ! Call in orders are welcome and dine in customers are welcome . Anyways I hope everyone stays safe during these tough times and remember eat local! Small business owners could use your help during this pandemic."

An amazing first time experience! Been looking forward to trying this cute little dinner for a while and I'm glad I finally did! Portions were very large in a traditional diner style. Everything perfectly cooked and seasoned. Staff was very welcoming and kind. Large menu selection with a little bit of everything for everyone. Highly recommend their omelettes and their breakfast potatoes! Heads up, it's a small location, so if you're in a rush, ordering ahead may be best.
Read the reviews and stopped on our way back from vacation. This "diner" is counter service only. No tables. I got the "Veggie Mess"... And it was very good. Too much for me to eat in one sitting, so I brought some home for later. My wife got the buffalo chicken sandwich. Her review is not as good as mine... Stick to breakfast, and you can't go wrong. The chicken sandwich was very underwhelming.... Frozen chicken patty... Too small to be worthwhile. Diesel I'm assuming he's the owner worked quickly and checked in with everyone as he attended to talking orders, clearing dining areas, cooking, ringing up the bills, etc. He was really great!!! It was very busy while we were there ... And he said it was busy all day. He was out of several menu items, which was a total bummer.
A tiny hidden gem! Adorable place with super friendly & welcoming owners! Enormous portions, all cooked fresh to order. It is so small we almost missed it we loved it and will be back!
One of if not the best kept secrets in Winchester. My wife and I stopped in here on our way South. First of all the food is amazing with generous portions and Diesel the owner is a one man ballet while he prepares your order with fresh ingredients right in front of you. Since everything is prepared from scratch it takes time but the wait is worth it. Small and clean I would give it six stars if I could.
This place is great. There are about 17 stools. They were almost full when we got there. The four of us finished filling the stools. Diesel was our Chef. He was fantastic. The took the orders, he cooked the food, he got our drinks. He cleared the plates. He was very organized. Ok....the food was fantastic. We ordered 3 Frenchie Platters and a Country Fried Steak Platter. The Frenchie consisted of 3 slices of French Toast, fresh home fries, a proteinbacon, ham, sausage, scrapple, or corned beef hash, and 2 eggs any style. This was enough for 2 if not 3 people to split. Diesel cracked the eggs one handed. He would make the french toast batter fresh. He was great on the grill. Watching him was a pleasure. The Country Fried Steak Platter consisted of a breaded steak pattyyes it was frozen but it was one of the best ones I have had, 2 eggs, home fries with onionscooked onions, gravy over the Steak, and toast buttered and grilled not in a toaster. I like my fried eggs over hard, break the yolks, cooked well done. Diesel is one of the first cooks who cooked them the way I ordered them and they were perfect. I have had home fries other places and when you order them with onions the have added them at the end and they are not cooked and browned like the potatoes are. Well not here...he cooked them with the potatoes and they were fantastic. This was out first time there and it WILL NOT BE OUR LAST time. Plan on spending some time there. Your order is cooked in front of you on the grill. Also it is not cheep. But understand this you get what you play for. The 4 of us eat for $73.00that was food, 2 teas, 2 unlimited refill coffees. It was worth every dollar. I have some other pictures of some of the other food too. The omelets are huge. They have a plate called the Veggie mess it is listed in the menu picture i posted. I saw 3 people share it and it was enough for 3 people. The coffee was great too.
Stopped in for a late breakfast for some amazing food! The prices are low, the portion sizes are gigantic, and the rockstar behind the counter was doing everything by himself at lightning speed. Highly suggest the meat mess and cinnamon roll pancakes if you’d like a large slice of heaven in your life!
As we race up the road to pick our daughter up from school her bus was canceled I'd like to give a shout out to the reason we forgot we had to pick her up if you haven't been to Piccadilly Grill in winchester then you need to go some time. I'd say it's best to go during the week as well seeing as this is a one man operation. Diesel, owner/operator, is an awesome guy. There are a few stools at a counter where you quickly get to know your seat neighbor and Diesel. He makes everything in front of you and fresh. He was peeling potatoes, cracking eggs, buttering toast, cleaning the counter, serving coffee, seemingly all at the same time. The food was awesome too. Hence our forgetfulness...if we ever take her with us she'll understand.
We absolutely enjoyed our delicious breakfast that was prepared right before our eyes. The food was delicious, large portions and affordably priced. Thank you to the owner cook and his mom for a great breakfast! My preference is to support the local merchants instead of the chain establishment.
A great place for an excellent bbreakfast. Food is fresh, hot, served quickly with more than ample portions. Always great to support a entrepreneurial business!
One of the best breakfast we have eaten. Small in size but huge in quality. Huge portions so you better come hungry.
