My brother had a broken button on hid iPod touch. Where he lives they don't have anyone to fix it. He sent it to me and I took it to ribbit. They ordered the part and Emily fixed it in less than 30 minutes. They brought peace into my family. Thank you.

Very sterile atmosphere. Personnel are robot-like in their interaction with customers. I visit and have shopped this particular store for years. Each and every visit, I'm asked by the same people, "Have you shopped here before?" No real sense of connection. Any politeness seems contrived and well-programmed... extremely synthetic... each visit the same. If I ask for a simple mouse pad, I am directed to an item that covers a desk and costs $15. They will do their best to get you spend way more than you ever needed, so that if you happen to be vulnerable in that regard, you could easily end up overspending way beyond your intent. Ribbit Computers is ABSOLUTELY community activity intolerant. Don't ask them for 'junk' unless you want to be coldly dressed down and embarrassed in the midst of other customers. They wouldn't even give me a name of someone I could address by letter with my organization's letterhead. What a blithering fool am I! People like me should lose the wool and do all shopping online where I'm not likely to have to deal with robots.

I took my phone in three different times to get fixed. The first time they fixed it pretty well. But when I went in the second time, the screen stopped working about an hour after I got it, so I had to take it back. I waited the 6 extra days to get the screen part, only for them to try and make me pay again. Then when I actually got my phone there were pieces loose on the phone, and they wouldn't tighten them back on. So, eventually the pieces fell off and I can no longer listen to the speakers on it. I WOULD NOT recommend getting your phone fixed here. They do pretty well with computers though.
