A simply oil change and tire balance turned into a nightmare. The mechanic overfilled my Cadillac engine with double the amount of required oil (6 extra quarts). Lucky for them I drove the car a relatively short distance. The engine was running rough, almost stalled and exhaust was smoking. Major cleansing of the air intake system was needed. We picked up the car again after all the work was completed. My husband rechecked the oil level and found that it was AGAIN overfilled. Their best mechanic had not taken into consideration that the oil filter had not been replaced during the clean-up. As a result, there was too much oil indicated on the dipstick. It was at a level that the GM owner’s manual cautioned that damage could be done to the engine. We had to again leave the car so the problem could be rectified. In addition, we had asked that they not rotate the tires after balancing. A tire rotation had been done the week before. They were pretty confident that they had done the rotation anyway. Finally, we had asked that they replace a high beam bulb. They called and said it turned out that when they replaced the bulb, the high beam still didn’t work. The ballast needed to be replaced. In the end, we had to replace the entire headlight assembly for $1,000.00. Upon inspection of the headlight assembly, there was a broken wire in a suspicious location. I cannot say for sure how the wire became damaged but after everything else, one has to wonder. As simple as an oil change and tire balance should be, you cannot trust they will do the job correctly.

Great dealership! Friendly staff that is very knowledgeable and made the car buying process super easy. This is the email I sent to Kim Miller and her boss, Dan, recognizing my truly unique, outstanding car buying experience. Here's how Kim did it: - Initial phone conversation: You made sure the car was shown as 'sold' with my deposit, and I know it would've been sold if you hadn't done this for me - Car purchase: You made the process of purchasing the car simple and enjoyable with total time in dealership less than an hour - Wiring funds: You provided accurate and simple instructions on how to complete the transfer of funds - Uber: You paid for my one-way trip from Phoenix to Tucson to take delivery of the car with no hesitation. Thanks! - Vehicle delivery: I showed up unannounced, a day earlier than scheduled, and you never once said "you weren't supposed to be here until tomorrow". Nice job! Instead, you simply put me at ease and let me know my car was being prepared. The car was immaculately clean and delivered to me in two-hours - outstanding! For these reasons and more, my entire experience with you and Royal Cadillac far exceeded my expectations! When the time comes to purchase my next Cadillac, I'll be sure it's with you and Royal.

I drove my Cadillac from Flagstaff to Tucson and needed to turn around and head back again the next day. While driving the 4 hour drive, an engine light came on. My husband, in the business at another dealership in Flagstaff, contacted Royal Cadillac and told them my problem and that I’d be arriving shortly. He told me to ask for Gene or Justin. Upon arrival, I was first ignored, and then told by Gene that he was busy. I found Justin joking around with someone while now two of us were waiting. He eventually made it out to me. I asked if they could run the code on the car so I would know the basics of the issue and whether I could safely make the drive back up. They told me they couldn’t help me that day, and I likely the next because “people were ahead of me.” I explained I wasn’t expecting it to be fined immediately, but needed to know if the car was fine for a four hour drive or if I should rent a car. I just needed a 2 min code run. They refused. I got stellar service and help immediately at Jeep and Chevrolet. Take your cars elsewhere—these guys are rude and unhelpful.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! They are very friendly and genuine. Ms Diaz took exceptional care of us! Not only was I provided coffee and water, she also set my kids up with a tv show to watch and juices to drink. Her salesmanship was spot on as well...I couldn’t believe how she zeroed in on exactly what I wanted right away just from the casual conversation we were having! She has also been available for my calls after the purchase with questions I have had. I look forward to purchasing all of my future vehicles from Royal.
