Unfortunately, there is no number than the number 1. So, a friend of mine and I had a whole night planned, and it was going swimmingly until we arrived at this “fine dining” establishment. The experience held several firsts for us. First, we found the world’s most officious waiter. After a brief, curt introduction, this man asked us if we wanted something to drink, he proceeded to take my id for a spin around the block for about 10 minutes. And boy were we in for a shock. APPERENTLY, WE AREN’T 21!!! Our parents and indeed the state government were all wrong, but our heroic waiter has opened our eyes. THANK GOD WE RAN INTO HIM; WE’VE BEEN LIVING LIES ALL ALONG!!!! I would recommend this place only to someone who appreciates the lowest of experiences. And even then, this will disappoint.

I have had some better experiences in other of their locations so might be just a one off occurrence. I had the pasta with chicken. The dish was OK but on the heavier side (very heavy use of cream vs light touch advertised). Service was quick to the point of rushed. Good atmosphere. My rating reflects the price / quality ratio. This food at this location is on pricier side while the dishes are very standard fare. Still good place to go for a lunch after shopping.

Very nice Italian food. The space is very conjugated though. Service was good and friendly. I want to visit Serafiana soon again.

Service can be a bit better, but definetely some of the best italian food in Manhattan

Risotto was on salty side but huge portion. I recommend the ham and mozzarella. Crowded.
