We visited The Dean Hotel to have dinner at north, one of my favorite dinner spots in downtown. By extreme luck, there was a cancellation and we didn't have to wait for a table. The food was creative and elaborate as were the drinks. I loved sitting by the window and watching the snow for our meal.

This hotel wins a lot of points for being unique and original. each room has its own character, but each room has some flaws. I would definitely stay here again if I couldn't find another hotel, but I might look around first. The shower was very small and lacked pressure. Everything was relatively clean, but there was a feeling of lack of privacy that I can't really explain. It's a decent place, and very unique, so if that's your thing. Go for it.

Karaoke night is the best here! Everyone joins in making you feel comfortable singing your guys out amongst strangers. The hotel rooms are amazing as well!

This is a review for the Karaoke at the Dean hotel.  My friends and I reserved a private room for New Years Eve and we had a lot of fun here.  The bar has some good beers and even has some sake, but there is no liquor. The rooms were fine and the Karaoke system worked great. The bathroom was very clean.

Came here for drinks and had a lovely evening! Loved the conversation with the bar tender and his passion and love for Providence. The ambience is like that of a speak easy. Rather hidden and tucked away from it all. While not the cheapest beverages, they were all high quality and we'll worth it. One of the better bars you'll find in downcity.
