I have been to this USPS twice and both times have been exceptional. I'm always greeted with smiles by the sweet lady who sits by the door and the teller. Any questions I had was answered and the process of mailing out was fast. Both times I was in and out in 5 minutes.

No one is ever available on the phone. Then the person making deliveries comes at 7 a.m. because I also live in Maspeth. It's horrible, plus living in a co-op he just leaves the packages at the door after knocking so lightly I couldn't hear him, even standing next to the door. The supervisor was no help telling me I must be wrong, that he leaves after 9a.m. even with my delivery saying it was delivered at 7:13a.m. 
It's gotten worse. Plus, friendliness is an issue, no people skills. We have had nice postmen and postwomen delivering mail.. But this new gentleman is all about how quick he can do his route. If he came at 9a.m. there is an office he can leave packages instead of leaving things out in the open to get stolen. I've had at least 6 packages stolen this holiday season.

I would give zero stars if I could.  They need to get rid of management and fulfill the establishment with people who want a job. Nobody answers the phone ever, they ' attempted to delivery' a package when we were here and just didnt.  Sometimes we do not even get our mail for three days!  This is ridiculous.

HORRIBLE!!!!!! Seriously, took over a week for a small package to arrive. I request to be redelivered and they didn't even bother! Now I'm on hold trying to speak to a rep for an hour, just to find my freaking package. Unbelievable.

stars. I was home all day waiting for a package to arrive on Saturday. Waited all day, looking out the window then got an email that they attempted delivery and no one was here. Lazy liars who didnt feel lime working but had to put a reason why they didn't come to my house to deliver my package! Unacceptable!
