Great local garage that has taken great care of all my cars over the last 10+ years. They always find a way to slip me into their schedule at a moments notice/same day. They also deliver the car back to me in great condition ahead of schedule. They are my “go to” garage in the haymarket/gainesville area. Highly recommend A+++

Liars. Tried them one more time. Car just had front and rear brakes and rotors in Dec 2017. Was told the front ones were too bad to pass inspections. False. Lie to someone else. Never again. Pound sand

Editing former review and downgrading based on recent experience. I still believe the work is solid, prices may be high, and all employees are not on the same page. But my recent experience was not very good. Despite an appointment and a promise the work would take "2 or 2.5 hours," I was basically hostage for >5 hours as they constantly told me my vehicle was almost ready. My recommendation is to NOT go here on a Sunday, which is apparently when they are inadequately staffed.

On 11/24/2017 I dropped my Toyota Forerunner off for an oil change at 11:32 AM. The employee said it would be done in two to three hours. I received a message at 6:45 PM that night that the car was done. When I went to pick up the car the employee at the front desk told me that the mechanic had broken the cap off of engine oil housing. This was the first I heard of this. He went onto say that they had to order a new cap as well as "re-threading" where the opening of the engine oil housing. I paid $86.72 for the oil change and went home. The next day I went to get in my car and noticed a four foot long oil slick underneath the car. I took it back to Virginia Tire and Auto and waited since at this point I lost all confidence in what was being done. About 90 minutes later the manager came to me and said that the threads on the engine oil housing had been damaged. I asked to see the damage. I went back with the manager and he showed me where the threads had been damaged by the mechanic taking the cap off. He said it would require that a new engine oil housing be ordered through Toyota. Nothing had been done to the threads, which contradicted what I was told the day before. I was then told the car would be completed by Tuesday. My 22 year-old daughter received a message on her cell phone that my car was repaired Thursday afternoon, five days after I dropped my car off for a simple oil change. Why they called my daughter and not me escapes reason. This has been a comedy of errors. I recognize accidents happen, but to send me home in a car that you already knew was damaged in an effort to avoid having to foot the bill is unethical. Period. I'm not looking for an apology, I want to warn people about this type of service. FOLLOW UP 12/15/2017 I continued to have leaking oil under my car. I had hoped that it was a residual of the previous oil leak, however, it was not. I took it back on 12/14/2017. It was examined and it was discovered that an aftermarket cap (the assistant manger's words not mine) was placed on the engine oil housing. I was told that they would need to pick up a cap from Toyota (that should have done in the 1st place). Before I left I gave the employee my cell number to contact me. I called the next day (12/15/2017) to check on the status of the cap. The employee at the desk had no idea about the cap, but said he would call me back in ten minutes. No call. I was on the phone hours later with my wife and she told me that my daughter again had received a call that my car was done. I picked it up (three's a charm, right?). I asked the employee why they called my daughter since I gave them my cell number twice in less than 24 hours and he said the employees that fielded the calls probably didn't right the number down (his words not mine). The employee did credit me back the price of my original oil change. The assistant manager did call my house once and left a message, but why not call my cell??? I know why know one had the number....
