Never had a problem with Alamo. They are efficient, friendly and professional. I suggest you join their affinity program. Once I left a book in the car and they found it.

Both of the Alamo people I dealt with were friendly, helpful and fast.
No annoying, time-consuming attempts at upselling.  Price was right.

Easy process. Staff was helpful. Rental was nice and clean. However always got voicemail when trying to call the local number.

Pickup in Des Moines was uneventful but drop off in Chicago was poorly handled as I was not given credit for the half tank of gas I had left. There has to be a way to do this even if I chose to bring it back empty. The agent who handled the return has a major attitude problem too.

It was a very good experience for us. I was especially grateful that they waited for us " after hours." Our flight arrived at 11:39 pm after they're closing time of 11 o'clock. They made a notation of it and so graciously waited for us.
