I was very disappointed by my experience car shopping at Alexander Hyundai. The salesman I worked with, Fernando Amador, showed me a few cars on my first visit and presented me with some lease numbers for one I was interested in. I told him I was just starting my search but appreciated his time and I would be back. I came in four days later to show a couple friends the car I was interested in and get their opinions. I took them for a test drive with another associate while I waited for Fernando. One he was free he presented me with new rates that had shot up $45 per month from the numbers presented to me just four days earlier.
When I questioned the dramatic increase he pawned it off that lease rates change everyday and tried to leave it at that. I then mentioned that other dealerships had offered me more on my trade-in and if they would match that and he scoffed at the idea. What made it even worse was the whole time he was acting like I was bothering him and was short in speaking with me and my friends. I was ready to go in and buy that car that day and the way I was treated made me never want to do business with him again. I felt like this was a bait and switch where he knew he could bump up the price when I was ready to buy to out some more money in his pocket at the end of the day. It took one of my friends saying if these are your best numbers then we're out of here, and we got up and left.
Not a good experience at all. I ended up leasing a car that same day with an incredible deal from an even more incredible sales person at Kirby Kia 5 minutes away where I felt like a valued customer and was treated with the respect a car buyer deserves.
I may buy another Hyundai in my life but I will not step foot into Alexander Hyundai again and I hope people can learn from my experience so they don't waste their time either.

Diane in the Service Department is a hard working professional.  We purchased our Genesis Coupe from a different dealership and they have been taking care of us like we bought it from them.  This is our second time using them for Repairs. Best Customer Service I have ever experienced at a dealership hands down !!

Think twice about buying a car from here, because of the customer service issues you will encounter when bringing your car for service.  Every time I call the service dept it goes to voicemail and no one ever picks up the phone.  If you go to Honda or Toyota you never experience this problem.  The service dept is not that busy with an influx of customers and cars, I have seen it first hand while there in person.  So if you think about buying a car from here, think about this issue you will encounter.

Had appointment to service my check engine light. Waited for an hour just to get my car in. 1.5 hours later im told nothing wrong. I get all the way home for the light to come back on. I mean it can't just be nothing......

Overall a great experience!!!
    Bill is a wonderful representative for the Genesis brand.  He worked his a$$ off to bring in the car that I was interested in.
   It took more time than anticipated, for two reasons, I changed the color/interior that I wanted (that car was NOT available), and traffic.  My other choice car had to be brought in from a dealership about 80 miles away from Oxnard... it took time and Bill wanted to be certain that the car was properly detailed.
    I was sick and wanted nothing more than to get home with my new car... Bill arranged for the car to receive it's full detail at a later date, he gave me a full 1 hour plus tutorial on how things work in the car... and offered follow up lessons!
    My first day with the Car, I had a question... I had forgot that he had a funeral to go to that day; but, he still took my call.  I then had an issue with Valet Parking at a MAJOR hotel in Los Angeles (read the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey) on the first full day that I owned my car... when I took my new car in for the duration Pont service... he took care of the scratch.
   I can not give higher praise to Alexander Genesis of Oxnard or Bill, their Genesis Manager.  
   Go there with confidence and LOVE your new car.
