Anita was awesome and worked really hard to get through to my insurance via the claims department when the policy people were out for the weekend. She went above and beyond to spare me having to return the next day with my insurance info. I never felt pressured, the dealer offered me a better rate than I was pre approved for. This is how cars should be sold!

I had a good buying experience, but the service was absolutely unsatisfactory! They tell you that you have 5 days to return the car so after receiving the car, I took it to my mechanic. My mechanic said the car was leaking on the transmission plate and differential plate. My mechanic also said that CarMax replaced one back shock, not 2 shocks, one each side. (who replaces one shock!) I brought the car back thinking they would just replace these small fixes. CarMax Service Manager's response was that since the plates or shocks weren't "dripping'," it fell within their parameters and would not replace. I've purchased other vehicles from CarMax in the past, but the service at Oxnard makes me think I need to find another avenue to purchase my cars. Oh BTW, they won't return phone calls either. PS-I have never written a bad review but felt obligated to warn you.

I was helped immediately upon walk in. Had a very easy time with financing, within minutes I had options available. The saleslady was knowledgeable, efficient and ordered my car right away. The extended warranty offered great coverage and there was no pressure to buy. They appraised my old car for trade in on the spot. They called when my new car came in and I drove it home. Highly recommended, they are very transparent in their dealings and explain things thoroughly. Thank you Carmax, for the great experience and making it so easy!

Best dealership experience by far! Want to look around the lot with no pressure, here you go. Want to not have to deal with the back and forth with the salesman and the manager, here you go. Want some time to think about it, here you go. They give you honest and helpful advice about everything.
