Changed my contract without my consent or notification during my rental, and charged me an extra $170 upon return for mileage. They will not refund me. I will be challenging via my credit card.

My company was contracted with Avis to rent four 4x4 trucks.  We go to pick the trucks up and only 2 of the 4 are 4x4.  We were then told we would be contacted when more were available.  The next day we get one more 4x4 truck.  Since then?  Nada.  No one knows when one might come in/be returned.  Apparently, no other 4x4 trucks are available in their ENTIRE district.  Not only that, but they will not and, supposedly, cannot pull vehicles from other districts.  I get told that I could drive the 2 hours to Phoenix or the 3 hours to Tucson to exchange the truck IF one is available in either location.  I'm sorry, but do I look like a friggin' Avis employee?  That is YOUR responsibility, especially when it comes to meeting your contractual obligations.  All I've gotten has been lip service.  When I return to my home location, I will be highly recommending to my company to never rent from Avis again, especially when we come back out here to Yuma this time next year.  For everyone else, save yourself the hassle of turnarounds and rent a vehicle from anyone BUT Avis.  You'll thank me in the long run.

Contractor I work for told me to swap car I had with a SUV they reserved a day ago. I go up and they tell me the only vehicle available is the one I have already and a mini van when I have to drive in YPG. How in the hell is that possible? Zero stars

No problem renting the car, but on day 3 of 5 the back tire is going flat. I'm 9 months pregnant. :|

Such an easy and great experience renting from Avis, our car was ready and waiting for us, the price was amazing and the car was super clean and such the perfect size. The customer service was fast and friendly and got us in our car super fast,  I would highly recommend using Avis as they have been a dream to work with, I believe this will be our only choice from now on.. Thanks Avis!
