Reserved a large SUV a month in advance. Halfway to my vacation location oil change light comes on stating I have 4% oil life light comes on. 500 miles in the middle of nowhere at 1am I drove the vehicle to my intended destination. Once I arrived the light states 0% so I called road side service and was told to go buy oil and drive the vehicle 45 minutes away to the airport. I'm on vacation on on my sons birthday they want me to drive a vehicle to a store to buy oil and buy more gas and then proceed to drive it to the airport without compensation for my time or my money. So then after making a formal complaint I call the original office and Jeff proceeds to tell me to ignore the vehicle lights because someone supposedly forgot to reset the sensor. When I asked to speak with a manager he told me that the manager was unavailable, refusing to give me the managers information. The sensor is supposed to be reset for an oil change at 17000 miles, car has 22000. Naturally I become upset because I am 900 miles away from home with 2 children and I am being told to do a job that I basically paid hertz to do. Jeff then tells me that he is going to hang up the phone because there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. This is by far the worst location I have ever dealt with. Paying to rent a vehicle is for the safety and comfort that the vehicle will work and function properly. If I had to go through all of this trouble I should have just kept my money and driven my own vehicle.

Reserved a vehicle for 10am with Hertz online. When i arrived, they told me they didn't have cars available at the moment and that it would be over an hour for rental cars to arrive. I made my appointment so that i could pick up the rental at 10am and that wasn't going to happen. So i was able to get a last minute rental with Budget, which is right down the road.

Hertz Gold Member. Reserved car weeks in advance. Listed pick-up time for 10am. Showed up at 10:45am only to be told that they just gave my vehicle away. "For being 45 minutes late?". "Sorry, our policy is a half hour then it's free game" No other vehicles on-site at all to even offer me an alternative. Left and checked with nearby rental agencies who both advised me that they don't have such policies in place as to give someone's reserved vehicle away because they were 45 minutes late. Employees were very rude and as unsympathetic as could be. Will never due business with this location EVER again. Great service from Avis down the street

I had a reservation for a weekly rental at the Goodyear, AZ location. When I went to pick up the car at 4:30 pm on a Friday night I was told they did not have a car for me even though I had a reservation. That they were overbooked. I have a gold card and free days available. They did not offer to help me find another place to rent a car. They offered no help at all. I had to rush around to find a rental and ended up paying DOUBLE. I had rented a car from this location 2 years ago. I had the car for 3 months. At the time I recommended this location to at least 15 people. Now I would not. The new staff was uncaring and unwilling to help.

Called to confirm rental insurance reserved. I was advised by call center I could be picked up within 1-2 hrs. When I gave address to the lady on the phone she had the nerve to make a comment about she was like WOW that is far. There was no need to comment, it was so UNPROFESSIONAL. not only that she said the earliest we can pick you up its 230. Don't you think I have many things to do after accident and not having a car all weekend. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE.
