Horrible service. First time my husband and I had rented a car. Quoted one price over the phone. Get there the day of our trip to pick up car and are asked to pay triple due to protection plans blah blah blah...our insurance company was of course closed at 8 am so we we were left with no choice but to go with a protection plan making our total payment approx. $600....all to find out months later when going thru credit card records that they charged us the highest protection plan possible which was $900! We had the car less then 7 days mind you...so disappointing. Ask tons of questions as they are NOT curtious enough to explain fees until you arrive to pick up the car....

I reserved the car in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon.  The car was immaculate and the customer service representative was awesome.  Very friendly and quick.   The website to me was just fine.  Very easy to reserve the car and the charges were clear and concise.  The amount they quoted was the amount we were charged.  No hidden fees.  LOVE THAT!   Overall it was a very positive experience.

I have rented here for about 3 years. This office has been reliable and honest. The customer service personnel have always been polite and informative. My credit card charges have always been correct. The cars absolutely immaculate and filled with fuel when I take them out. 
The single problem is with the Budget website itself. Accounts go missing, reservations sometimes don't make it, and the customer service personnel at the office do not have the time or inclination to train in utilizing it or explaining it. If you use the website to reserve, you run the chance of not having a car when you need it. If you get extras through your account, you run the risk of it vanishing even if you have rented a car six months previous. A phone call or a visit to to the office to reserve a car is preferable.

This was my first experience renting a car, and I couldn't have asked for better.  It was super easy to reserve and pay for my rental online, the clerk was polite and helpful, the car was lovely.

single-handedly the WORST customer service i've encountered, in ANY context, ANYWHERE. why? the car we reserved online wasn't available. no offer to upgrade, fine, things happen, but no apology was offered & the poserly dreadlocked kid watching the shop made absolutely no attempt at providing solutions, just a surly attitude. i get it-you live in a college town & work at a rental car place, clearly your life hasn't turned out the way you hoped, but that doesn't mean you don't have to actually do your job-or actually it does, apparently.

after we explicitly asked what else was available, the wannabe hipster begrudgingly told us there was a compact; we accepted this option only to then be told 5 minuters later that, alas, it wasn't available. AND I QUOTE: "if you could come back tomorrow that would work a lot better." at this point i told the kid to eff off & we walked out. i strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere.
