Picked up vehicle at night during a snow storm - 10 deg.  Did not notice the front windshield had a film of smoke on the inside until I got out on the road with opposing headlights.  The wipers also did not work.  Blades were well beyond useful life.   Once I was rolling I noticed a very bad odor in  the vehicle.  It became unbearable when I turned on the heat.   Actually drove 40 min in 10 deg weather with the windows down.   I would have turned back but I was rushing to get to an appointment.   I will exchange the vehicle tomorrow.

I always have a great experience renting from Dollar. We usually rent in Seattle but this time we rented in Denver, at Denver International Airport. We easily caught the shuttle to the rental car location and "Karen" took very good care of us and even upgraded our car to an SUV since snow was in the forecast during our stay. Karen was professional, efficient and beyond personable and just reconfirmed why I will always rent with Dollar.

Quick and easy, no hassle. But we also checked our car in at 3am, so there wasn't a line. They didn't charge us extra. The reason for 3 stars was because he didn't ask us if we wanted to charge another card, which we wanted to do. Poor communication and lack of interest in customer service. But, overall no hassle and easy. I would probably go with them again.

The best car rental experience I've ever had!  Be sure to join Dollar's free "Dollar Express" when make your rental as it makes the process much less painless.  

The bus had just closed their door as I got to the bus stand outside baggage claim.  The driver stopped when they saw me and the drive to the office was quick.  Once inside I went to the Dollar Express line and was checked in 5 minutes or less.  They gave me a free upgrade and told me I could choose any of the cars waiting in the express area, right out side the door.  As soon as I went out the door, a very polite employee was there to direct everyone exiting to the area to where their car was.  I told him the person at the desk said I could pick from the cars in the express and he pointed where they were (20 or so feet from the door) and even gave me the advice that the Nissan's Maxima had heated seats so I went and choose one of those.  

When I went to return, I pulled right up, no waiting.  The car door was scanned and I was handed the paperwork and receipt within minutes.  I was told the shuttle was at the front of the office.  I walked there and the driver came out, met me and took my bag to the bus.  Another bus pulled up within minutes and our bus headed towards the airport where the driver again took my bags off the bus, right beside the curbside check in area.

Exceptional service from reservation to return!

The attendant that helped us upon pickup was very professional and helpful. He got us in our vehicle quickly and out the door. The car they provided was also brand new! When we dropped off the vehicle we experienced the same great service. We dropped the vehicle and ran to the bus. No fuss and no paperwork.
