Poor Customer Service

Back in April I reserved a minivan to pick up from this location in August. About a week prior to my scheduled pick-up, I called this branch to confirm that they had my reservation for the minivan. While the agent verified my reservation, she told me to call them again the night before to remind her (why should I have to do this when she could make a note of it herself?). When I show up to pick up my rental, they have no minivan for me. Instead, they offer me a dirty, keyed Nissan Pathfinder. This was unacceptable not only for the condition of the vehicle, but for the lack of cargo space and comfortable passenger volume found in a MINIVAN.  I demanded the agent call around other locations to find me a minivan, and offered to drive to the location where she finds one. The agent uses her cell phone (not the business's landline) and speaks to someone in a foreign language. The agent get off the phone and tells me there are no available minivans anywhere in the area. I ended up finding a minivan on my own with Budget at BWI airport 40 miles away. This was a major inconvenience for me, as I had already driven 15 miles to this Dollar location for a vehicle I reserved four months ago and confirmed one week prior to pick up. Not to mention, there were other customers ahead of me who were also experiencing problems with their pick-up or drop-offs.  Apparently there is a problem with the customer service at that particular location, not to mention a lack of respect for spending power in the inner-city community.

Please do not rent from theses people.  i had a reservation today and called in. The lady told me that there was a car available and to come in.  I arrived 30 minutes later and the lady at the counter told me that someone told me wrong and that she would call me back whether she gets a car for me or not  so that i could find a ride home.  Its now 6 PM, I have not received a call and i am stranded on the streets with no help.  do not go to theses people , they are rude and ignorant.

The location (in Maryland) was easy enough to find.  However the people (man & woman) where the worst.  At first they gave me a car w/ BALD tires,  filthy, carpets where missing...they had the nerve to keep emphasizing if I didn't bring back the car clean I would get charged!  I recorded this horrible car & convo w/ them.  It took them another 2 hours to give me another vehicle ---- after going In the back and slamming the door to the office.  I decided not to post the video... but now speaking about it, I will.  Oooohhh & there was only one other customer.  So NO they where not busy!  Called their corporate office over & over... waste of time. They did not care either.

I'm actualy Okay with Dollar, There prices have changed drastically, however the customer service is great.
