I came to visit my family from Arizona and made arrangements on line a couple weeks in advance to rent a car.  When I arrived I gave them my debit/credit card VISA.  The guy behind the counter said I had to have a Major credit card since I had out of state license (They said nothing about that when I made the reservations).  My VISA had plenty of funds in the account.  I even offered to pay cash including large cash deposit.  He was very rude and said step a side while I check out a car to these other people.  I will never rent a car from Enterprise again!!!  I called Avis and they had NO problem with my Debit/Credit VISA & couldn't of been nicer!!!  I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes with my rental!!!  Avis gets 5 out of 5 stars!!!!!

STARS. I have never been so frustrated in my life. BE CAUTIOUS IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO RENT HERE. I would also advise you to have a copy enterprises rental policies with you before  arriving to the counter.  They will flat out lie in order to get you to purchase extra coverage which is NOT REQUIRED  in order to rent from them (GLEN CARBON LOCATION). I was told that even though I have coverage provided with my credit card I am still REQUIRED TO PURCHASE THEIR CDW which is simply false.  My credit card company along with their corporate headquarters did confirm that this is not true. On top of that my final bill was inflated to include additional charges for RAP which I did decline. If you must rent from enterprise I would strongly encourage you to use the O' Fallon IL  location and bypass this one. The incompetence of certain employees at this location is ridiculous.

The guys at the desk were Awesome! They went up and above the board to accommodate me. I wish all of my employees displayed the kind of customer service these gentleman did. I will be back

I was stranded in Collinsville, IL on a Sunday afternoon when the engine in my car locked up and would not run.  The next day I had the car towed to a repair shop and called Enterprise for a rental car.  A representative of Enterprise picked me up at the repair shop and took me to the office.  I rented a very good car at an excellent daily rate with unlimited mileage.  That was perfect for me because I drove 600 miles to my home, then drove 600 miles back when my car was repaired 4 days later.  Everybody at Enterprise were very courteous, friendly and helpful.  I recommend Enterprise to anyone who needs to rent a car.

It was a great experience.  I was greeted as I walked in and was given a car that far exceeded my expectations.  The car was clean and the service was great. This was definitely a WOW experience. Thank you Andrew Winkler for great customer service.
