More than happy with the guys and gal over here at Enterprise. I've always received excellent customer service from friendly and helpful staff. My only suggestion would be for the agents to suggest to the customers to sit down when it's gonna be a minute to get a car together. I've been left hanging at the counter a couple of times not sure what's going on. Keep up the excellent work!

I was hoping for a compact vehicle, as I reserved, but was offered a gas-guzzling muscle car instead. I actually felt bad for the fellow at the front desk, as about three phones were going off and he was the only customer service representative in the office. Because of the customer representative being so harried, and because of the trouble I had already had in trying to rent a car, I consented to the Dodge Challenger, even though it was not really what I wanted. The car they gave me had the smell of dissipated cigarette smoke and body odor. There was also spilled soda on the steering wheel. I asked the man who gave me my car if the tires were properly filled, as I was going on a long car trip and did not want the negative impact to my miles per gallon. He told me, "Well, the sensors will tell you if the tires are low." It was not the answer to the question I had asked. Sure enough, the tires had a maximum pressure allowance of 44 psi, but were currently sitting at 39, 36, 36, and 31. About an hour into my trip, the low pressure alarm went off. It was 20 degrees outside, and I had to go to two different gas stations to get the tires properly filled (the first air pump probably did not work, but the cold weather did not facilitate my attempt to get the job done). Probably the worst aspect of my rental was the non-functioning Sirius XM package that I ordered. I was traveling primarily in the mountains and the vast emptiness of the American Southwest, so I wanted a clear radio signal to allow me to stay attentive on the long stretches of my journey. When I received the car, they told me to maintain the XM station on the preview channel for 15 minutes and the signal would automatically come through. Well over 15 minutes into my attempt did not produce any success. About an hour after I received my rental, I called the Enterprise office and they told me to keep trying. The next day, when I started my journey, I left the preview channel on for the better part of an hour without any luck. I took the opportunity of needing to pull over and fill the tires to call the national helpline. The woman who answered said she didn't know how to help me but she gave me an 800 phone number to resolve the issue. I must have copied the number improperly and did not get in touch with anybody associated with Enterprise. I scotched any further attempt to get the XM signal that day and drove the hours and hours to my first destination. The next day, I called the same national phone number and a very helpful gentleman said he would reset the XM signal but that I would have to again leave the radio on the preview channel for 15 minutes. Again, I achieved no result. Some way down the road, at a rest stop, I called the national number again and the woman said she would reset the signal for me. She suggested that, if it did not work this time, it probably would not work during the course of my rental. This was true during the course of my next two days. However, on the last day of my trip, as I was heading towards the Four Corners area, I lost all terrestrial signals, and, just to break the silent monotony, turned to the XM preview channel to hear a semblance of something, even though it was a continuous commercial for XM radio. Mercifully, the actual channels did come through in a moment, and I was able to enjoy actual radio for the remainder of my trip that day. To their credit, Enterprise did not charge me for the radio during any part of my trip. However, the whole experience really set things on the wrong foot from the get-go.

I have been renting cars from Enterprise for over a decade and the Arapahoe, Boulder office is my favorite. First, I found that they are far less expensive than rentals made at the airport (DIA-- Denver International) because of a steep extra tax there. Second, they tend to have a better selection of cars than smaller shops. After several poor experiences of reserved vehicles not being available at other locations I started using the Arapahoe office for most of my rentals. Third, and perhaps most important, the personnel at the office all tend to be first class. If something is wrong or there is any problem, they go out of their way to make it right. The only down side to renting from Enterprise which I have encountered is that people who work at the various offices are regularly changed or shuffled to different locations. This makes it more difficult to maintain an ongoing personal relationship with anyone who knows you as a repeat customer and understands your individual needs. I have no hesitation whatsoever to recommend both Enterprise and especially the good people at the Arapahoe, Boulder office. They are the best!

The staff did a great of working with me to extend rental and get me to my destination with a courtesy ride when I was on a tight schedule the day I dropped my rental off.

My experience with the Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch on Arapahoe Ave. was great! The staff was quick, friendly, and professional and the service was hassle-free. The price we paid for the car was as listed in our original reservation; there were no surprises with my experience. It was a straight-forward transaction.
