The employees at this location went out of their way to make my rental a great experience.  The guy checking me in said he aims to get people in and out in 3 minutes, and he met that goal.  They gave me the car they felt was the nicest one available in the category I chose.  When I returned, they asked where I was going, and I said I was headed back to the airport.  They immediately offered to drive me to the nearest MAX station, which was awesome.  Saved me an extra walk in the unusual heat.  Great customer service!

Weekend pricing model and hours traps consumers to three days.
If you are renting a car for the weekend be aware that the price you are quoted on line will NOT match what you are charged by this branch. In the app I entered a drop off time which was after hours on Sunday and was quoted $34.94. Then Monday morning I received an email stating that the unit was checked in at 6:50 AM and I was charged $55.07. I am sue Enterprise is going to respond quoting their policy and that their sales rep clearly explained the rental agreement and their on-line system is not representative of the different branches. To this I say, you are tricking consumers for extra cash,  just be upfront and don't try to hide charges.

The downtown Portland OR staff was excellent and very responsive.  Instead of paying a lot to park at our hotel, we rented a car for individual days and returned to the lot.  The car for the day was about $50 and had we kept the car and parked at our hotel, the parking was about $40!  So walking to the rental car lot ended up being a perfect solution for us.

There was a car ready for me when I arrived and everyone I dealt with was very polite and helpful, as was also the case when I removed it. I would have given it three stars except for two things:
The car was very dirty and had only a little over a quarter tank of gas.
I was not given either a manual for the car or anything describing the condition of the car (although the employee took note of everything that had to be noted about scratches and dents).

Great friendly staff. They worked to find the right car for us and to change our reservation days. I'll warn you. It's a busy place. I don't think they have time to fully clean the cars as they come in. Double check it if it's important to you. I had to turn down a car because of the strong pot smell. The car we got had personal items under the seat and trash in the cup holders. Still it's convenient.
