We would be happy to stay here again. The staff is very friendly and supportive, the rooms are clean and relatively spacious, and the kitchenette is nicely equipped. The back window looks out on open woods and the rooms are very quiet. We enjoyed nice wine at happy hour, watching the World Series with others.

This is a funky little bed and breakfast that used to be a motel by the looks of it ...the rooms have been completely redone to look like cabins, the beds are great and has a little kitchen area  and fireplace.
There are Trails right outside your door that go to the lake for those that like to hike and they have bicycles that you can use ...  I believe those are free and there's also a game room although I'm not sure what's in there.  
When you check in the little lobby  area there are movies you can rent and early in the evening they have wine and cheese,crackers and fruit... Which is very nice and you can sit in front of the fireplace and in the morning they have breakfast which is also good, but not great, and you can again sit in front of the fireplace ... this is probably the best deal in Tahoe!

Hands down the best place to stay in Tahoe. The rooms were adorable, the beds were comfortable, and the staff could not have been more friendly! Tracy and Steve, the owners, were so accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. They offer complimentary breakfast (The waffles were my favorite-- so easy and SO delicious! With any topping you can imagine!!), happy hour with wine and cheese, AND s'more time by the fire.  There is so much included in the price of your stay that you do not get with any ordinary hotel. We took advantage of the free bikes they have as well and it was just a quick ride down to the lake--so convenient! The whole feel of the lodge is so relaxing... I nearly fell asleep in the hammock. 

I would highly recommend the Fireside Lodge to anyone who is looking for a worry-free vacation. I can't wait to return in the winter for some skiing!!!!

Oh and I almost forgot......they are pet friendly and have an adorable lodge dog!

Just got home but can't stop thinking of the great time my family of 20 had at the lodge and Tahoe.  The people at the lodge make the entire experience.   Enjoyed having them sit with us and talk as we enjoy food, wine , and good times.   Obviously there will be a return visit.

This place is awesome! The new owners have done a great job with upgrades. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are REALLY nice and spacious. So many nice touches like the delicious breakfast food, happy hour, use of the bikes and Smores to finish the day.  Great location too....15 minutes or less to lots of beaches, trails, ski resorts, casinos, etc.  Definitely recommending to my friends.
