I came to the dealership looking to replace an 18 year old Volvo that has lasted far longer than ever expected. Had seen an ad online that captured my attention and wanted to follow up. I was promptly greeted by Allen who elicited a laugh when he told me I could see the vehicle in question, but couldn't drive it because it was sold. He asked the right questions and presented me with a list of cars that fit my criteria. There was one in particular he thought might be a good fit and was he ever right. I was introduced to Lance Jewel who took things from there. The rest is history as they say. There are many positive adjectives that can be used to describe the experience they provided. Warm is not a term often used to describe a car dealership. Starting with Ann at the front desk, to Allen the Sales Manager, to Lance they all made us feel welcome. The entire purchase process was fair, clear and transparent. The nearly new XC60 we came away with isn't too shabby either. We highly recommend giving Gengras Volvo a try.

We were certain we were going to turn in our 2015 Lexus and purchase another Lexus.  We weren't getting much satisfaction at the Lexus Dealership so we decided to look around.  Our first stop was Gengris Volvo and our minds were made up.  We fell in love with a model that was in the showroom.  The sales people gave us time to look around on our own but were there when we had questions.  Everyone we dealt with was pleasant, knowledgeable, friendly and not at all pushy.  We also loved that what you see is what you get when it comes to the prices.  No haggling.  I would certainly recommend them and am happy to be dealing with them now.

Fantastic service and competitive pricing. Drove down from Maine to make my purchase, Jeff made my experience at Gengras a great one.
Highly recommend checking out Gengras Volvo in East Hartford.

I went there to have an oil change and a check up for my car. The service department is clean and comfortable and the employees are courteous.  They give me an itemized list of any repairs needed and my car always gets a wash and vacuum after they're done.

Years ago we had a very good purchase and service experience here.. More recently we went looking for an SUV, but the salesman we had was very impatient, as if we were inconveniencing him. I know it depends on the person you get, but this was not the experience we wanted looking for a high-end SUV, we took our business elsewhere. Three stars because the pricing they had was reasonable, and they did have a good selection of cars here.
