We shopped around for a month trying to find the best quality to price point. We thought we had found it at Harvertys, after 3 months the chair and sofa we bought are falling apart at the seams. There is pilling on all the cushions. Threads are appearing around all the piping. The sofa in general is not wearing well, we have only one child(7) and he doesn't abuse the furniture At this point we think that we will probably be buying another set in 2-3 years. For a set of $1800.00 sofa+ chair set, I would have imagine I was getting 5+ years out of this when we bought it. Might as well paid less at Bob's if I knew the quality would be the same or even worse.

At this point it is absolutely ridiculous and has been a HORRIBLE experience. We spoke with our sales person (who was nice and helpful) about our concerns of the furniture fitting in our townhome. He assured us everything would be ok. So we spent about $6,000 on a desk and sectional. Delivery was about a month out for the desk, so we waited, and the night before the desk was to be delivered, they informed us it was damaged. So we rescheduled for about 2 weeks later. At this point we moved furniture around in our home and basically have been living like we just moved in with no furniture. 2 weeks go by and they show up, only to find the desk was "glued" together prior to shipping so it would not fit through the door. Seriously?? In addition the sectional won't fit either! Only to find out we somehow ordered the 2-piece (although we voiced concern over size and fitting). The 3 piece would fit but it is another $600 and another month of waiting. Ok. Well now another week goes by and the desk is to be delivered this Friday. I arrange time off of work so that I can be there for it. They just notified my wife, the day before it is to be delivered for a 3rd time, that the desk IS DAMAGED AGAIN!!!!! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!! Their furniture is nice, but their shipping/storage and execution is completely incompetent. UNREAL!!!

Store has nice stuff, sales folks hopeful. However, ridiculously poor supply chain and delivery capabilities. Bought stuff Jan 2 and not a thing being delivered until March 25. My receipt even says 3-5 weeks for custom orders which applies to my couch (that's almost a 3 month turn around) and my dining room set still on back order and no clue if that will even get delivered March 25. Of course none of these details shared with you up front because they want you to buy right away so be cautious. I probably should have just shopped on Amazon and got everything delivered in 2 days :) Shop with eyes wide open here. Hopefully the furniture rocks but couldn't even tell you yet!
