What a scam place.  I returned a vehicle yesterday and they went and checked car and came back and said the inside was dirty and it was not this way when I rented.   I said that's crazy, when I picked it up it had slight damage on right side, filthy outside with snow, salt.  First place I take is a car wash and told them so.
Lady said let me see ticket which had walk around inside, gave me receipt and said I can go.  Today they call about damage and they have my walk round ticket.  How convenient, feels like a scam. I reported this to State Farm and will pursue with Hertz corporate.

Scam place!!!!!
This is a horrible rental place, My first time in Hertz and a terrible experience, the lady was not kind to me even I told her that was my first time there, she did not even have the suv clean, she cleaned it and not well after that she gave me the keys and so fast went with me around the suv. I did have my daughter and my niece with me and did not look at the windshield, When I got home I noticed a small crack in the lower corner of the windshield I called her and explained everything. My husband and I stopped by, as soon as she saw the windshield she said oh no it wasn't like that I told her that I just went home and I noticed that, I asked her to show me the picture that she took from the front of the suv and she said you can't do the zoom. She was so rude and said you just have 2 options pay $150 dlls or your insurance needs to pay. I will return the suv tomorrow and I don't want any business with this awful place.

Two ladies work there..the older tends to be nice while the younger one is rude.. They want to force you to buy their additional insurance..but if you have insurance there is no need to purchase it.. My insurance already had gave me the heads up. But they kept insisting for me to get it.. After I kept rejecting it they made me feel awful saying if anything happens to the car I will be held full responsible.. Like really?!.. thanks!!

This place is horrible, first thing that will happen to you is that you will get accused of being at fault for not having a rental vehicle for you because you didn't call them directly. Although you have a reservation number the customer service representative that called me to set it up gave a time and date my car will be ready. The workers here clearly hate their job and thats why they treat people  bad.  This happened to me not once but twice. This is just the way they operate.
