The location is great; I could sit on the back porch of my room and look out over the water. The customer service was absolutely impeccable, personal attention and a swift response to even the most minor requests. Rooms though... My room felt like a slightly upscale version of a motel 6. The view was spectacular, but nothing about the room itself was noteworthy on the positive side... As to negatives: the standard size beds were too small for a couple to share, there was no microwave or fan, and there were spiders both inside and out. If you're a professional running a conference or just really into golf this might be the place for you, but if you're traveling as a family I'd recommend going to Great Wolf Lodge instead.

My wife and I came down for a few days to get away from the city. nice and quiet the rooms are a little dated and some repairs are need. Our balcony doors was challenging to open.rooms was clean and the bed was very comfortable. we was satisfied. The service is excellent tons of things to do great restaurants and if you don't want to eat there this plenty of restaurants nearby Golf Course swimming pool Lazy River bike riding you name it great place for relaxing. We will return. And even had a gas station across the road so when time go we gas up. The best feelings ever don't have to search for a gas station. Kingsmill Resort thank you for a Stress-free trip I can still feel the Breeze coming off the water as the sun set !

Although short, had an absolutely wonderful stay here. At the restaurant, had a delicious surf-n-turf burger, with Angus beef & crab. For breakfast, you have all sorts of options from Continental to American.. and there's a great omelette bar.

Kingsmill Resort country club is a nice place. Not too stodgey but not ultra modern either. The staff was extremely friendly and professional which was a treat. It was really nice to see a truly diverse mix of people at the club as well. You don't have to play golf to be a member as they have social memberships that allow use of the clubhouse. The grounds are exquisite and it is located pretty much next door to Busch Gardens so it's convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay in this resort. We have a less than two years old toddler and wanted to find a place where we would all have fun. The reason we chose Kingsmill Resort is because they have a big lazy river pool. Our toddler had so much fun there and it was truly worth it to watch him enjoying himself. (We brought our own swimming tube for him since he is too small to use the regular sized swimming tubes the resort provides). We stayed three nights here and didn't leave the resort the entire time. The staff is very friendly, the room was very clean, and the view was beautiful. Just walking around the resort area was relaxing. The breakfast they offered in their main restaurant was good as they provided many different fruits and pastries. For dinner, we went to their seafood restaurant twice because of the nice view. I did have one massage session which made me very happy. Since I am a working mom, it was such a relief to take a break and just be relaxed. Overall, we are very happy we chose the resort and will definitely come back.
