We stayed here one night following a day at Busch Gardens.  This is a very basic, old style motel.  Single story, drive in and park in front of your room.  Our room was clean and in good repair.  Old style TV w/remote works fine with quite a few cable channels.  Fridge and microwave were unplugged when we arrived but worked fine.  No ice bucket and did not see a ice machine.  Fridge had empty ice trays in the freezer.  One small waste basket in bathroom.  Two double beds (which were comfortable to us) with a  nightstand between.  One table and two padded arm chairs.  Hanging rack with a folding suitcase rack underneath.  Two drawer dresser/TV stand.  Older style thru-the-wall A/C worked fine, room was nice and cool when we arrived.  Tile bathroom with single sink and tub/shower is dated decor but clean and functional.  Outside/parking lot  has good lighting at night.  My big complaint is the water saving shower head.  After a long, hot day in the park, I was looking forward to a nice shower.  I got clean but it took awhile.  Wife has long hair and there was not enough water pressure or volume to wash her hair.  Two sets of rather thin towels.  The weak shower knocked me down from three stars to two and might keep me from coming back even though the room price is cheap.  Overall, a good, basic, cheap stay.

My friends and I booked this motel for the price and the location. We arrived around 9pm after a day at Busch Gardens. When we pulled in it was very dark and a man was sitting outside smoking while staring at us. We checked in at the front desk and went to go see the room... The man was still watching us. We got into the room and were disgusted! There was human hair everywhere and the phone didn't work. There was a connecting door to another room which didn't seem too secure and you could hear the people in the room next to us. The whole place gave off a vibe of it being a drug den or a place for prostitutes. Needless to say we did not feel safe staying here. We went to the front desk and told the man working that we were not staying due to feeling unsafe and the room being dirty and outdated (the tile walls were taped together). He told us we could not get a refund and seemed shocked we were feeling unsafe. He told us there had not been any recent incidents and that the man staring at us is super nice and picks up litter?! He then proceeded to tell us that if we really didn't feel safe, since we were "Three young white girls" we could call the police and have them drive by a few times to ensure we were ok during the night. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Lost $60 to this disgusting place!
